til death do us part (i know that you are mine) by @artsy-death is a short, smutty one-shot featuring a master of death, universe-hopping harry who harbors a minor obsession with tom riddle (across most universes) and of course a deliciously possessive and sadistic tom to top it off.

if you like dark themed tomarry, tag, you’re it by @whotooklortan is perfect. obsessive tom, kidnapped harry, and a wonderful case of stockholm syndrome. i personally like my toms as sociopathic as possible, and i adore this fic

I didn’t have the patience to read through the incomprehensible Chinese translation of Google, that is why I didn’t get to finish it. But I loved the morally ambiguous start of the story, it was interesting and mind-blowing with it’s complexity in both characters and the relationships. 

Ah, I really wished that the translations in Ao3 would just update, so I could satiate my thirst for this fic.

I finally finished reading 47 days to change in chinese.  It’s seriously been an ordeal to read this fic, on the count of me struggling through the chinese and the fic itself being sometimes too intense for my fragile constitution.  what drew me to it ultimately was how interesting the premise of the story was, and the manner in which the drama unfolded.  i’m not exactly sure how i feel about it though?  It is for sure one of the most original and interesting fics I’ve read.  I’d like to say elements of it are challenging, but i don’t think challenging is the right word for it.  perhaps if one wants to keep on reading it, they shouldn’t have any expectations of closure or of sound ethics.

My latest comic for The Nib was written by my friend Mike Thompson- it’s his first published comics work! 

The Nib has been a steady source of income and a huge support to me and many other indie cartoonists for years. They publish amazing work, but will be cut loose by their financial backer in July. You can read the official post about it from editor Matt Bors here.  They are still running their kickstarter-funded print magazine, but have to put digital publishing on hiatus until they figure out their next steps. Okay, thought: In AUs where Auguste lives, how would Laurent, who's courting Damen, interact with Jokaste, who's Damen's lover? Like most of the fanfics have Jokaste going out w/ Kastor immediately or just not bother with them dating at all! Which begs the question of how would Laurent react.

Laurent might try to stop his feelings because he respects and wants Damen to be happy at first, but I think if he sees some similarities between her and himself, he might be irked that why can't it be him?? Hmm, then once he realizes that Jokaste wants a king she can manipulate easily, he might fight against Jokaste and Kastor.

I'm still unsure though. Like I imagine Laurent trying to make Damen jealous, like in the books, but it won't work if he thinks Damen sees him as a younger brother?
