Do you ever think about the fact that Stan had a closet full of evidence against himself for committing identity theft against Ford so Ford could be cleared of all charges Stan accrued in his name? Cause I can’t stop. That man has been in court at least three times he’s not unaware.

Oh. Oh I had not thought of this. Ah. Ouch.

He was prepared for any option. Do you think, at least a little, Stan was ready for Ford to kick him out? Fo you think that somewhere in the back of Stans mind he fully believed that despite saving his brother, he was ready to go? That the only reason he knew he was going to stay was to watch the kids?

Okay okay I have tried something….pls pls gravity falls fandom do NOT make fun of me for it.

So uh I remember the rap battle Mr. Pine vs Ford ask a while back…and I have watched a few Rap Battles YouTube videos and wanted to… try to make Mr. Pinius Pine’s first verse. This was my first time ever doing something like this.

I don’t really think I capture Mr. Pine’s character correctly, but I wanted to at least give it a shot….

I mean there’s no harm in trying, right?

Sentient Mystery Shack, who is really biased towards Stan, so when Ford tells Stan he has to give it back after the summer it’s on sight.

Ford keeps tripping over nothing, nothing is where it's supposed to be and somehow he keeps running into closets when he tries to go outside.

But the worst part, the WORST part is that Ford's lightbulb just won't. Work. No matter what he does it keeps flickering and exploding.

Ford is spiraling. 

There is no reason why it shoudln’t work. All his trial runs work perfectly. He’s already checked the Shacks wiring three times and relearned this dimensions science from the ground up. 

Nothing works.

The Rift? Bill? The impending apocalypse? Eating? Sleep? Who cares about that. 

WHY. WONT. THE. LIGHTBULB. WORK???

It doesn’t help that Stan keeps laughing at him.

“Then you do it!” Ford eventually snaps at Stan.

Stan shrugs and with a little song under his breath screws his own lightbulb in. It works perfectly.

Stanford screams.

Trigun is so mean it's like here's this funny whimsical little man with the love of five thousand suns ans rainbows. Isn't he so very cute and loveable? Now watch him go through the absolute most diabolical torment the author can think of. And they did three different versions of it. AND THEY ALL SLAP

Fun Story to Share.

I got my (now 18-year-old) daughter into Ao3 back in 2021. I taught her she should always comment - even if the fic looks old or abandoned or whatever. She did.

Well - she got this email this morning:

The fic was written in 2014 and essentially abandoned.

Bethy read and reviewed in 2021 (and was actually the only person who had commented at all).

Today in 2025 - the final chapter was posted by the author and this was her reply to Bethy’s comment.

so embarrassing when i forget im checking someone's blog and i start scrolling through and liking and reblogging shit as if it's just my dash. it feels like wandering into someone else's apartment and not noticing and making myself lunch

I think that while it’s talked about a bit there’s so much untapped potential in fanfic writer Stan and fanfic writer and beta reader Soos.

You best believe Soos taught Stan how to navigate ao3 and post fics to The Duchess Approves fandom and beta reads all his fics which get a decent following.

I think that compared to Stan, Soos’s fics get a bit less numbers cause he usually posts in obscure fandoms or does original works but the readers he does have are extremely loyal and comment after every chapter.

Anyway Bonding ensues and Soos and Stan share fics all throughout Stan and Ford’s adventures together until they head back to gravity falls to see everyone again.
