The Church of Saint Porphyrius, located in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood. It was built in 425 AD by St. Porphyrius. The church was renovated in 1856, but it contains friezes & bases dating back to the Crusader period. St. Hilarion Monastery “Tel Umm Amer”, which is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Gaza & has been listed on the UNESCO Heritage List since 2012. The Byzantine Church in Jabalia was built in 444 AD, which makes it over 1600 years old. It is known by its mosaic floors, floral decorations, & wonderful geometric shapes. Qasr El-Basha, an Archaeological Museum, & the only remaining palace in the Gaza Strip. It was used as an official museum for Gaza City and contains many important artifacts.
