March 2023 Doodle Highlights

(May 4 - May 31, 2024)

I hurt my hands from drawing too much in April, but I'm okay. During that time I was trying to take a break from drawing, but I was beginning to lose it, so I drew Maloof in MS Paint.

I continued resting afterwards and I was able to draw normally again.

I wanted to try drawing Quentin with different expressions again. It wasn't so bad this time, but ...

Might revisit this one. I wasn't feeling it the day I drew it.

I saw that shirt and thought of him.

This is really my third attempt at squirrel Augustus.

Elka is like a cartoon character to me. Her manner of speech is very expressive.

Cutting the bush does not hurt it.

Request from my sister (she is a fan of Gorillaz, could you tell?) Seems that Noodle Fed-Ex'ed herself to the wrong address and The Levitators/Firestarters/Whispering Rockers have a guitarist now.

I wish I could have drawn more. I thought the outfit Elton was drawn in here was cute.

November 17 was also the first time I played Tomato Adventure. To commemorate two years since then, I drew this. (I made a drawing last year too, but I don't think I posted it)

Might seem silly to celebrate such a thing, but I just like this game so much.

I've been wanting to draw Noodle again since the last time I drew her. Drawing Noodle reminds me a lot of drawing Dart and Raz. I have learned everything I know about Gorillaz from my sister. I like baby Noodle best because she is very cute. I would like to draw other phases of Noodle sometime.

I also drew her breakdancing, as is tradition.

I LIKE J.T. I think he's wonderful. I liked him instantly from the first moment I saw him and heard him speak. He's a psychic, he's a cowboy, he's a PSYCHIC COWBOY. He shoots bullets not with a gun, but with his MIND. He can play harmonica. He's a polite little gentleman. He has a nice face and a very trustworthy smile. I would trust him. I like the way he talks. I like his bestie, Chops. I like to draw his neckerchief and smile the most. I think the very concept of a psychic cowboy is brilliant and I just love his design.

Sometimes I want to draw more serious drawings with Bobby, but then I remember he looks like this and it would just be silly.

A face only a mother could love ...

if you're up to do requests, could you do Raz interacting with a couple campers of your choice? i think my favorite part of the first game is the different conversations with the different campers, and i also really like the way you draw em ^_^

I don't normally take requests, but I like Raz and I like the campers. I can't turn down the chance to draw them.

I found a notebook under my bed from when I was in school. Shockingly, I found zero doodles in it, so I fixed that. I haven't drawn on paper in a long time.

Note: Crystal doesn't have an official birthday. I just chose from a random Virgo date. It happened to be Sept. 22. Yaaaaaaaaay.
