2021 Elena of Avalor Ship Week Day 6 - Dancing

I drew this a few months ago but only coloured it recently for ship week. Rafictor is one of my favourite crackships for EOA, so it’s essential to post this for shipweek.

We never get to see what most of the characters were doing for Halloween in season 3 of Sofia the First, so this may as well have happened! (She has no idea how ironic this will be by the time of season 4). You can see Miranda in costume here.

I heard that Pondhopper wanted a picture, so I made a portrait of her (and her crows) with watercolors! The dragons are just so adorable- I mean tough and intimidating, and I love your comics so much!

Omgggg I love this! Especially that little crow with an ENTIRE diamond fit into its mouth. And the candles are included too! This is 100% gonna sit on the very top of her hoard. Thank you so much for painting and sharing this!

Who do you think the new Captain of the guard should be now that Gabe is general? I think Antonia Bello should be the new captain.

I find myself agreeing with you on that one Anon, even though she doesn't have as much seniority as a lot of the other guards, out of all the ones we've seen she does seem to be the best pick. The important thing about being Captain isn't being able to run the fastest or or jump the highest (Which is why I thought the competition for becoming royal guard Captain in ‘The Curse of El Guapo’ was kind of ridiculous). Instead one needs to have intelligence, patience, and good problem-solving skills, traits that she has in spades. 

And the only other main candidate who comes to mind is Rico, and I just don't think he's as good for the job. Don't get me wrong, he's a good guard but he seems more likely to make rash decisions then she does. Maybe if the royal guard expands enough that they end up needing more Captains he could do a good job as another Captain, but for now it's probably best he says a lieutenant.

Sure! Here are my lil'buds :

Group photo! (Not all are shown here because I consider my full team to be larger than seven, since I can just rotate them around whenever I want.)

This is Fern, my starter! I didn't actually know what she'd look like when she evolved, since I tried to avoid any spoilers for new Pokémon in the game, so I was a little nervous at first with how she would look and what type she would become, but my fears were unfounded in the end. I just love my magician cat.

Skully the Clodsire, and Mariza the Finizen

These are the cute little guys and I absolutely 100% needed to have on my team as soon as I saw them. Scully is named that because of those little crossbones he had as a Wooper (By chance, he is the only male Pokémon on my team). Mariza is all I've ever wanted in a Pokémon ever since I was 8, she is adorable and sometimes she glitches on buildings and starts to fly into space ("So long, and thanks for all the fish").

Trenza the Dachsbun, and Imentet the Espathra

Trenza carried my team with a lot of type coverage and also carried it by being a very good girl, good dog, good bunbun. Imentet is here to fight enemies with the power of the setting sun (and a psychic laser she shoots from her mouth).

Anguila the Wugtrio, and Hawlucha (the currently unnamed) 

I love garden eels so much I needed the garden eel Pokémon so much. Hawlucha is the newest member of my team, she helps me beat normal types into the dirt. (I'm looking for name suggestions for her so feel free to suggest any).

Chien-Pao (exuberant ferret) and Chi-Yu (the sensible one)

I don't normally nickname my legendaries, so these two just have their regular names. Chien-Pao is the only member of my team fast enough to keep up with me while I'm riding Koraidon, so they follow me around the most. They will sporadically stab things then fall asleep at my feet. Chi-Yu is very pretty and melts things with fire.

Muffin the Naclstack, and my noble (and very goofy) Koraidon

Muffin is probably the strongest member of my team, she's got me through some tough fights with her salt powers and is so powerful that my files of direct pictures of her kept on going corrupt and refused to be transferred to the computer, so here’s a glitched overlaid picture of her instead. And finally, my very, very eccentric motorcycle dragon and my favourite box art legendary, (I'm so proud of them).

This is a picture I drew last year. The prompt was “Winter Blues” so I was Inspired to draw characters named Blue in the winter building a snowman :-D . It's one of my favorite pieces of art I've done. (My coloring job is not given justice by my phone camera)

I just want Felix to be happy. (Also that one part of that one scene reminded me of Singing in the Rain, hence his pose).

Have you ever eaten Lilac flowers? They are edible!!

Really? Oh wow I did not know that, I do eat a lot of edible flowers, leaves, and berries that I pick when I’m outside. So next time I have the opportunity, I might just try that out.
