I know whay The Simpsons looks like compared to ML is chronology.(Correct me if I'm wrong)

The Simpsons(kinda but usually)doesn't have the chronology but ML DOES have the chronology.(and that's the same thing with timeline)

#15: “The Simpsons doesn't have a consistent timeline, so why should Miraculous Ladybug?”

Yet another common criticism and source of debate fans have with Miraculous Ladybug is the inconsistency of the timeline. In the first season alone, there have been episodes taking place during the first day of school, the first day of Summer, Valentine’s Day, and Christmas if you’re counting the first special. Well, someone on Twitter decided to ask Astruc about the timeline of the show, and he gave easily one of the more mind-boggling responses I’ve seen him give.

Okay… that’s a lot to unpack here. For one thing, The Simpsons is nothing like Miraculous Ladybug in several ways. While there are callbacks to previous episodes, The Simpsons isn’t a story-driven show. At the end of the day, almost every episode ends with things back to normal, with no real changes to the status quo. Even with the whole “characters never age” thing, it’s to keep with the status quo and what has been established since 1989, and they still give characters consistent backstories, like Sideshow Bob’s desire to kill Bart as revenge for foiling his schemes.

Miraculous Ladybug is a show with several ongoing story arcs and character development (supposedly). It makes sense to at least have a consistent timeline to base your show around. And once again, Astruc has switched to the “Stop thinking too much!” defense for his show. Do you want it to have continuity or not, Astruc? If you want to have more story in your show, you need to have a consistent timeline to base it on. But then again, this is the same show that thought it would be a great idea to put the origin story at the end of the first season. Because that won’t confuse new viewers, right? After all, it worked for Power Rangers Samurai, didn’t it?

One person pointed out that even if there isn’t a chronological series of events, time is still passing. It’s been at least a few months since the the events of the series began in-universe, so surely, they have to move on to high school, or at least the next grade, right?

Not according to Astruc.

So Astruc is basically saying he’ll change the status quo when he feels like it. And of course, he uses Love Square drama as an example of what he could do.

Another Twitter user asks if they’re going to stay the same age for the rest of the series, and Astruc gives yet another response that misses the point of the question entirely.

That’s not what they meant, and you know it, Astruc! Nobody actually thinks there’s been a spell placed on Marinette and Adrien that will stop them from aging. They’re asking if the characters will actually age. Either that, or they want to know if there will be any kind of progression in the plot or the timeline.

And not long after this, Astruc goes back into “It’s supposed to be complicated!” mode.

So at the same time he’s admitting the show barely has anything to get invested in, Astruc is once again claiming that his show is incredibly complex. Yes, Miraculous Ladybug so complex, its creator thinks it doesn’t even need a consistent timeline.

Say what you want about Gloob but the real perpetrators that has to be blame is.....THE PERSON WHO LEAKS THE EPISODES!(and maybe Zag & Thomas)

Why I'm saying that? Because they leak it just to get attentions & get more views. That's what they are doing rn. If this wasn't for them,Gloob will not gonna realesed these episodes. Sure,I'm also disappointed with Gloob, releasing the episodes out of order but....you have to remember that the biggest problem that we have rn is the leaks itself. That shoudn't happened if Zag really focused on this issue and care about the fans like you,me & people around the world.

And speaking of Zag,I know he's a busy man but at least,please tell him to acknowledge that this is a big issue that needs to be taken care of. If it's out of control(like rn),people will lose interest to watch the season(hell,even the series).

The situation with the Bible leaks, the episode leaks, the movie leaks, voice actors getting underpaid, episodes not getting released in chronological order, and the spoilers trailers were ALL handled by fans... what is Zag doing? Why are we expected to take care of the show?

I woke up to the spoilers on the timeline and had no time to go mute the hashtag and even if I had, losers will post about it untagged. The situation was unavoidable for fans and instead of Thomas throwing the blame at Zag it's OUR fault for watching it?

And you know what the sad part is? It being completely random and unanticipated but also not skipping that many episodes made it one of the best watching experiences of Miraculous, simply because no one had the opportunity to spoil it using trailers or screenshots.

Yeah,we,the fans did all of this that even Zag couldn't do it because we love this series and we want to stay that way. Zag and Thomas should know better because they're created the series and they should listen to the fans if there's anything bad happen.(And before you point it out,yeah,I know that there's a high chance that Thomas has his block button on his finger,I KNOW.OK?)

A lot of people are angry on Gloob rn because of this. Ok,imagine this. If other broadcaster like TFOU & Disney Channel do this,would you be angry at them? Ofc you will be angry on them because they released it out of order. Same with Gloob but there is a reason why Gloob do this as shown on the next tweet right here.

gloob cares about leaks, a lot of stuff from the 5th season is leaking and no broadcaster does anything about it, gloob wants to release it before more stuff leaks, there are people who were selling leaked episodes abroad, but tell me if any broadcaster did something about it?

So,some(or maybe most) of you mad at the creator for 'whitewashing' Marinette or Marinette herself,in general, because she's not being 'fully' Chinese.

Well.....,I would say it's debatable.

It depends on who you ask,whether they're natives or not.

But,on my personal experiences,I can relate to Marinette.

Why do I say that? Well,here's why.

Let's start with Marinette.

Her family was diverse. Her father's(Tom) side is European(French+Italian), and her mother's(Sabine) side is Chinese(Shanghainese).

Marinette couldn't speak Chinese(but tried to learn it in Kung Food).

Marinette goes to Shanghai to learn more about her family and culture and........let's be fair, she goes there just because Adrien was there and solely for Adrien(I don't want to be salty on her but, Marinette, your parents spend a lot of money for you to go there and learning about your own family and their own customs but instead of that, you just go there just to see your crush. I'm very disappointed at you, Mari. I'm not angry, just disappointed.)

Now,let's move on to my point. Why do I say ' I can relate to Marinette'?

Well, my family is also diverse. My father's side is Rohingya, and my mother's side is Malay.

I couldn't speak Rohingya(but always trying to figure it out how to learn it).

Malaysia is already my home(but maybe Rakhine also counts).

In conclusion, Marinette has her right to choose to live whatever lifestyle that is more comfortable for her, whether to live in a Western or French customs or with Chinese customs.

So yeah, I think that might be enough to defend her choice.

Update:Ой блять,we were scammed.

Instead,they give us Правдоруб(S4EP1 Truth)and Фальш(S4EP2 Lies) to us.(They not airing the rerun of S4EP9 Gabriel Agreste either..so..eh....)

I don't know why they change their mind but in my opinion,I think they gonna release it but maybe tomorrow or weekend but again,it's confirmed it will be release this week.So,yeah.
