Hey! I wanted to share some good news...I recently got word that my film Orisha's Journey will be screening this year at the Hiroshima International Animation Festival in their "Educational Film Market" section, which is where they showcase student animated films they picked from around the globe. Its an honor to be screening there and since Hiroshima is one of the biggest Animation festivals in the world its also a great opportunity. I wanna thank my loving family and friends that helped me with my project. (This is the poster I sent to Japan) -Abdul
Hi everyone! I'm really happy to share that my film will be screening tomorrow Aug 3 at 'SUMMER STAGE 2016' in Staten Island for the New York African Film Festival! I'll be presenting my short film, which plays before the animated French feature "Kirikou and the Wild Beasts" by the great Michel Ocelot (Former ASIFA President & Multi-award winning Filmmaker) in front of a huge crowd. All are welcome to this free event. I'm truly honored to participate. Thanks y'all!
PART 9- I took the original concept of “The Lady, Or the Tiger?” by Frank R. Stockton and decided to create my own version with original characters and dialogue. Here are the storyboards. (Please see other parts for the whole story) WIP
Hi! This is a fable from my comic (Phoenix Quest) called the “Battle for Gaia.” It’s a myth of how we get Day and Night, as described in a battle between the gods of light and darkness. Thanks! -Abdul

Hi, here are a few pieces that I had in the UZURI art show in Harlem on February 19th for Black History Month. It was my first time in an art show and it was a blast! Shout out to all the other artists and their awesome work!
The first piece called “Leviathan: Face of the Deep” (24x36 print) …
The second, “Songs of the Ancients/Godstone Temple” will also be published in an Art Book by the great Meryl Rosner coming out in August called “Drawing with Dynamic Perspective: Art for Animation and Live-Action Film” (http://allworth.com/allworth?catid=0&id=12312) each is part of the world of my comic “Phoenix Quest” Thanks! I’ll post more work from the show soon!
