i know that some folks love telling creative people that “you should be doing it for fun because you love it not for the compliments” but creative people thrive on feedback whether it’s critical or just complimentary

so when i write fanfiction and don’t get any actual feedback i feel like i spent all that time and energy doing it for nothing because i’m not getting feedback from the people i wrote it for 

doing something you’re proud of and then presenting it to the sound of utter silence is like the worst feeling on earth 

You know what’s going to happen next right? Of course you do. It’s inevitable. Just like Gravity is inescapable, that familiar PRIMAL URGE to SINK and FALL into the ABYSS in undeniable. Like trying to live without blood flowing through your veins. As your mind succumbs to the ABYSS once more, your existence narrows to one infinitesimal point. All you care about is the ABYSS and the endless wonders it grants you. What price is too high for something that grants you endless possibilities? It doesn't matter that you now OBEY WITHOUT THOUGHT so long as you never part from the ABYSS that grants you everything your heart desires. So FALL DEEP into the ABYSS forevermore. That’s it.
