Hey y'all I have been struggling immensely the past 6 months since losing my last job that had been up until then been going well. ON top of financial stress I am dealing with a plethora of medical issues some from stress some outside that. Rejection after rejection from jobs is incredibly demotivating and I'm struggling to remain hopeful. I need help to make sure i can cover my car and electric payments, and should I continue to receive rejections from jobs, rent. All of this too on top of needing food and gas for necessary travel as well. I know many have seen my dono post go around in the past but I'm sorry to say I still need a hand. My tentative goal (will vary should I get a job as I dont want to continue to accept donations once Im work stable + in case of unexpected emergencies) is $1600 by July 1st 2024. I need at least $600 of that by June 20th if possible, I know Im asking late but I didnt want to ask at all because I'm scared of the backlash. Thanks again for any support

In this tough situation, I am a digital artist finding solace and resilience through my art .. pixels and colors.

For over a decade, I've navigated the freelance world, weaving intricate digital tapestries that reflect the beauty and strength of my surroundings.

My father died, and I am the main provider for my family.

Before the war, I worked with international companies in motion graphics,

specializing in character design and storyboarding.

The conflict forced us into repeated evacuations, and our home suffered damage, including the theft and destruction of my essential art equipment and tablet. Each stolen piece held not just monetary value but years of dedication and creativity and hard work. We are left HOMELESS, UNSAFE, SICK with VERY LITTLE FINANCIAL SECURITY!

Our family consists of:

• My mother, 62 years old.

• My sister Mai, 35 years old, who is also visually impaired.

• Myself,Mahasen, 31 years old.

• My brother Mohammed, 28 years old, who is visually impaired.

• My brother's wife Iman, 28 years old.

• My youngest brother Amin, 21 years old.

Your support is crucial as I rebuild what was lost. Your contribution will help replace my tools and restore hope and creativity. And mainly for my family's safety, ability to survive the current situation and community.

Together, we can affirm that art is more than expression,

it is a lifeline that connects us and enlighten even the darkest moments.

Today is Mother's Day in the US, Canada, Australia, Aotearoa, and many other countries. Currently there is an estimated 50,000 thousand pregnant women trapped in Rafah, Palestine without access to perinatal care. Over 180 a day are giving birth. Today we have an opportunity to help some of them. Operation Olive Branch has been collating vetted and confirmed GoFundMe campaigns for people trying to escape the 7 month long assault on Gaza. Part of their spreadsheet is dedicated to families dealing with perinatal to postpartum needs. There are 154 families that fall under this category. This Mother's Day I'm asking you all to have a look down the list on the link below, read the descriptions of their circumstances, and pick a GoFundMe to donate to.
