Love the idea that the rest of the batfam never knows what to expect with Cass and Dick. Monday they're a united eldest sibling front against Bruce's nonsense. Tuesday Cass walks into the cave and decks Dick in the face for reasons unknown to everyone else. Wednesday she's crying and he's comforting her. Thursday he's grumbling to Tim, Duke and Damian about how he can't be the only good older sibling example and it's not fucking fair that she gets away with all the bullshit she does. Friday they're back to being a united front against Bruce, who they've decided is the root of all their issues. Saturday they're sparring but it's so intense half the family wonder if they're fighting for real again. Sunday they work like a well oiled machine and solve 23 cases in one night. Monday the cycle repeats.

was scrolling through the GL tag and these are some statements that caught my eye. keep in mind all of these were from the top posts that had hundreds if not thousands of notes and, of course, were batfam centric despite being tagged as green lantern

• jessica was a GL while dick was robin (i’m not sure how anyone with even the most bare bones knowledge of dc in general would think this?)

• john is bad at art (false, he enjoys it and is skilled enough at it to assist kyle thanks to his work as an architect)

• john was in the army (false, he was a marine)

• hal is scared/intimidated by members of the batfam (lmfao)

• bruce has authority over hal on earth (false, hal has jurisdiction over the entirety of sector 2814)

• bruce knows more about aircraft maintenance and is a better pilot than hal (i don’t even know what to say to this)

• hal is the asshole of the league (false, hal is not an asshole, and if anyone is it’s bruce lol)

• GLs can’t get injured (false, crack open literally any GL comic)

• bruce and clark can outwill hal (no??)

• hal is a himbo who doesn’t know anything (hal is an elite pilot with an engineering degree 😭)

• kyle was hal’s sidekick (couldn’t be more wrong, for the love of god read actual comics please)

i had to stop because i was getting too annoyed. this is what GL fans have to deal with on the daily. for the love of god stop clogging the tag with your batfam power fantasy fan fictions involving characters that you know nothing about ✌️

There’s been a lot of discussion about the “fuck Batman” line in the Titans trailer so I thought I’d put in my two cents. 

There was a lot of anger between Dick and Bruce when they split up, so it is valid that he would say “fuck Batman” if it were in that time period, however he is still in a robin costume which complicates things in whether he is still working with Bruce or not. 

This Dick seems to be in his early twenties and part of the police force, all of which he did while Tim was robin, so it wouldn’t make sense for him to be in the robin costume, he should be Nightwing. If this is the time period they are based in the “fuck Batman” line isn’t valid as they’ve figured most of their issues out at this point (or at least what passes for it with those two). 

TL;DR: For the line to be valid Dick shouldn’t be wearing the robin costume, he should be wearing discowing 

The problem with Talia is that there’s basically two different, conflicting versions of her. 

The original characterisation has her very much as someone who would do anything to protect Damian, who did yes, raise him in the league of assassins and have him taught how to kill, but when she realised she couldn’t protect him from Ra’s, sent him to live with Bruce, both to keep him safe and teach him how to be better.

The other, newer characterisation has her as someone who doesn’t care about Damian as anything other than a tool, who put a bounty on his head at one point, had Slade control his movements through spinal implants and did have him killed, (and also that weird plot line where there were a whole bunch of failed-damians). 

Neither of them are necessarily good mothers, but one is definitely worse than the other. So people who consider Talia a good parent probably go from the original charaterisation. 

And as op says, Bruce (for all his flaws) is definitely the better parent, no matter which version.
