Part One

“I’m so proud of you.” Nancy said as I hung up the phone. I reached for her, wrapping my arms around her. My body is still shaking and my heart aches as I sob into her shoulder.

“I shouldn’t even be crying like this.” I say, pulling back and wiping my eyes with a laugh. She just beams at me, squeezing my hand. She reaches up and helps me wipe my tears away.

“It feels like a break up. Of course it’s gonna hurt.” she placed her hands on my shoulders and smiled at me. “But the best thing to do now is build you up.”

“What do you mean?” I asked her. She just took my hand and pulled me into my bedroom, sitting me down on the edge of the bed. She knelt in front of me and took my face in her hands.

“It always does me good to pamper myself after something like this...When Steve and I broke up I got a new hair do, went to the spa and just loved on myself….Your situation is obviously different but if you wanted to, we can dress you up and go to Tonya’s party.”

“What?” I asked in surprise. “No way.” Billy had been supposed to hang out with me tonight, but since that wasn’t happening he most definetly would be at her house.

“Exactly.” Nancy said, “He’s gonna be there. And you’re going to be assertive.” She pulled me back to my feet and brought me to my mirror. She stood behind me, placing her hands back on my shoulders and peering at me in the mirror. “You’re gonna look hot. You’re gonna dance and drink and be a dumb teenager with me.” I smiled.

“That sounds great.” she grinned and clapped her hands.

“Okay. Let’s get started!”

Third Person P.O.V

Billy was trying to have a good time. He was already reasonably drunk and Tonya had sucked him off as soon as he got to the party. She was pleased he had decided to come. He tried to hide the hurt, and he thought he was doing a pretty good job of it.

Until she walked in the door with Nancy.

“Wow.” Tommy said mesmerized. Carol punched his arm and rolled her eyes when he cried out in protest.

“What?” Billy asked chuckling. “What are you….” his words died in his throat when he saw her through the crowd. She was walking, hand in hand with Nancy Wheeler, who was beaming with pride. Wow was right.

Y/N wore faded blue jeans, rolled up over black bike boots, a black halter top and a black leather jacket with studs on the shoulders. Her hair was teased and piled on her head like a crown and her make up, thick black liner and bright red lips. Her nails were painted black and she wore several bracelets on her wrists. Billy stared at her, eyeing her up and down as she walked through the foyer. People parting for her and Nancy as they made their way.

“Is that...Y/N.” Billy started as Tonya placed her arm around him and sat in his lap. He wrapped an arm around her waist instinctively and took a hard sip of his beer.

Y/N held onto Nancy’s hand tightly. She could feel everyone eyeing her as they walked down the hall. In a show of confidence she let go of Nancy’s hand to remove her jacket, only to giggle with embarrassment when someone wolf whistled at her.

“Sorry!” Nancy shouted. “Y/N’s my date tonight!” she playfully kissed Y/N’s cheek and threw her arm around her. “You got this.” she whispered in Y/N’s ear.

“What is this? Halloween?” Tonya snapped rudely at Y/N as she walked by. Y/N stopped and turned to look at her, doing her best to keep her eyes off Billy.

“Just thought I should remind you bitches.” Nancy snorted, covering her mouth with her hand as she giggled.

“Remind us what?” Tonya asked.

“If I need to tell you then you really are dumber than you look.” Before Tonya could say anything else, Steve and Jonathan blocked her from their view.

“You ladies look good tonight.” Steve said, handing Y/N a drink. She took it and reached out, hooking her arm through Steve’s and pulling herself into his side.

“Nance, you mind I dance with Harrington here? He did get me a drink.” Jonathan was already leaning down and nuzzling Nancy, she smiled and waved Y/N away with a wink.

“Go ahead. It’s our night to be dumb teens remember?” with that Y/N took Steve’s hand.

“Show me what you got Harrington.” she pulled him towards the living room and towards the dance floor.

Y/N was amazed at how confident she felt. When Nancy had finished making her over she felt like a new person. She felt beautiful and bad ass and ‘you better hang onto your man cuz just one look they’d be gone.’ For the first time in her life, she was ‘that bitch’.

She pulled Steve close, by the front of his shirt and began to grind on him, rolling her hips into his as the music pulsed through the living room. Steve put his hands on her waist, holding her close and pressed his forehead against hers.

“You really do look amazing tonight Y/N.” Steve shouted over the music. He smiled at her in awe of her beauty. She only grinned and pulled him closer.

Billy’s P.O.V

I watch her from the doorway. God I must look like a fucking freak, staring at her while she’s grinding on Harrington. I watch her hands, slide up his chest and over his shoulders. She used to touch me like that, roll her hips on me like that. I watch as she turns around and begins to press her ass against him. Suddenly I feel something else take over me. I push my way into the living room and up to the two of them. I take her by the arm, as gently as I can and pull her away from Steve.

“We need to talk.” I whisper in her ear, my eyes flickering to Steve, who’s looking at me with irritation. “Now.” she pulls her arm away from me, glaring up at me. I can feel it. That electricity that kept me coming back to her. I’ve never seen her so defiant, she’s always been needy, needy for my touch, my hands, my lips, my cock. But now she’s looking at me like she hates me. “Please.” I try, my voice faltering. She sighs and turns back to Steve. I glare, jealousy flaring as she leans up and kisses him lightly on the cheek, before motioning for me to follow her out into the back yard.

The night air is cool and I pull out a cigarette, lighting it and taking a long drag as I follow Y/N out of the party and around the side of the house. It’s nearly too dark to see, only the street light casting a dull glow on her. I can see her shivering and begin to shrug off my jacket.

“Don’t.” she says, putting her hand out. “What do you want Billy?” my mouth goes dry. I don’t even know what to say to her at this point. I know I fucked up. But I’m still with Tonya….

“I wanted to tell you I’m sorry.” she crossed her arms over her chest. “Sure you don’t want my jacket?”

“Look at me.” she said firmly and nodded. “I’m good.”

“I really am sorry Y/N.” I bite my lip, unsure of how to continue. “Maybe...maybe I was using you in the beginning.” she scoffs and rolls her eyes. I don’t know where she got this defiant streak from, but it’s hot as hell. “But things changed.”

“Not enough apparently.” she snorted. “You’re still with Tonya Billy.” I open my mouth but she cuts me off. “No. This is on you. You led me on and I….I wanted to believe you felt more for me than you did...But it’s done. I’m sure Tonya’s waiting for you-” I reached out, taking her in my arms and pushing her up against the side of the house. I brought my lips inches away from hers and I could feel my dick growing. She looked at me with that defiance once again and it was driving me crazy. I loved it.

Third Person P.O.V

The tension was palpable as Y/N glared at Billy, holding his gaze firmly. Her body gave her away though as she pressed herself into his growing hard on. She licked her lips as he closed his eyes and shivered against her.

“I can’t let you go.” Billy whispered against her lips. He reached up and pressed the tip of his thumb against her mouth, without hesitation she sucked it between her lips, biting gently. Everything Nancy had said to her went out the window, her mind went white.

All she wanted was Billy. She needed him.

“I don’t want you to.” she said once his thumb left her mouth. She looked into his eyes and saw something beyond the lusty haze, something she’d been seeing for weeks now. “But i want to be the only one.” With that she shoved him off of her and straightened herself up. Before she walked away he took her hand in his. He wasn’t the begging type, he’d never been left hanging like this before either. But there was something exciting in her newly found confidence. He brought her back to him and locked his fingers in her hair, tilting her head up as he pressed his body into hers again.

“Nobody,” he whispered huskily, “Makes me feel the way you do.” he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers, his heart leaping when she melted into it, tugging roughly at his hair. He opened his mouth to her, allowing her to dominate the kiss. She shoved her tongue into his mouth, searching every bit of it as if for the first time and sucked on his lips hard. He was dizzy with lust and aching for her.

“Come find me when you’ve decided that for real.” she knew he’d been drinking, he probably wouldn’t remember this in the morning. She kissed his cheek and walked away, fixing her clothes and wiping the edges of her mouth.

“Hey. Everything okay?” Steve asked, opening his arms to her. She sat on his lap and took a sip of his beer.

“Everything’s good.” she smiled down at him and joined in the conversation he was having with Nancy and Jonathan.

Billy stood in the doorway of the living room. Her eyes flickered to him every now and then, she knew he was watching her. His mind was racing and his blood boiling with anger and jealousy. She should be with him, sitting on his lap, running her fingers through his hair, loving him.

“And this one?” Y/N asked, pointing to a scar on his right elbow. She kissed it sweetly. Billy loved her tenderness as she ran her fingers over the jagged skin.

“Got in a car accident when i was a kid, some glass got stuck in my arm.”

“Oh.” she said softly, staring at the scar.

“Come here.” he whispered, bringing her face up to his. He kissed her gently, running his hands up and down her back as they made out.

“You know,” she said when they pulled apart for air. “Someone’s gonna see us.” Billy shrugged his shoulders.

“So?”

“So if we keep meeting here it could be trouble.” Billy sighed, running his fingers through his hair.

“Do you want to stop doing this?” she shook her head.

“No...But I don’t think it’s right.”

“Do you trust me?” he asked her, taking her hand in his. She pulled away, sitting up and folding her legs across each other. Billy sat up, propping himself on his elbow. The thin hotel sheet covered his hips down, but left his broad, sunkissed chest very open for view. “Do you?” he asked again, taking her face in his hand, he rubbed his thumb over her cheek bone.

“Yes.” it wasn’t more than a mumble. They sat there quietly for a moment. “I just wish it didn’t have to be like this. I wish I could really be your girlfriend.”

This memory rung out in his mind as he watched the girl he loved snuggling up with another guy. He finally understood. He knew what it felt like for her to see him every day with Tonya. He knew how hard it must have been for her to keep her cool and keep acting like things were okay. Just so she could spend a few hours with him….He shook his head. It was crazy. Normal people don’t do things like that.

But she wasn’t normal. She had loved him.

And it took him standing in the middle of his girlfriend’s party, watching her with Steve Harrington for him to finally, truly admit to himself.

He fucked up the best thing that had ever happened to him.
