My head canon for crystal cliffs is that it is notorious for being the empire with the worst food 

It is a school and the closest thing they have to a government is the school board and gem

There food is close to what would be served in a school cafeteria because they focus on studying and teaching they like food that is easy to make and cheap to produce 

The students and teachers are forced to get creative and try to find ways to make it more palatable 

They use spell’s to artificially flavor the food or use spells on themselves to change the way their taste buds perceive the taste 

The food is not natural and the while edible the taste is off and noticeably different from what it is trying to emulate ( like how banana flavored candy tastes different from bananas)

One good thing that comes out of this situation is that they are also known for their food lasting years and being well preserved 

They have very manufactured products just like the grimland s which makes sense because most of the students are from the grimland

Welcome to the MCYT Sibling Showdown, where sets of siblings in the MCYT Multiverse go up against each other to determine the best sibling dynamic!

What qualifies as a set of siblings?

For the sake of the poll, sibling set nominees are divided into three categories:

Canonical: These characters are canonically siblings, biological, adopted, in-laws, or otherwise.

Canonical Honorary: These characters are canonically honorary siblings and have a sibling-like dynamic in canon.

Fanon: These characters do not have a canonical sibling dynamic, but are frequently portrayed as such in fan depictions.

Are there any limits to what dynamics I can nominate?

In-law dynamics are allowed ONLY if they are between a canonically established relationship within the source media, i.e. Fanon submissions of in-law dynamics are NOT allowed. This is to prevent bringing the entire MCYT Family Forest into the mix, for the sake of everyone's sanity.

Characters in the sibling dynamic can be main characters (played by active content creators) or NPCs (as defined in the @mcytnpcshowdown), or a combination of the two.

Real-life sibling content creators (e.g. Stampy Cat and NettyPlays) can qualify for this tournament ONLY IF their characters are also portrayed as siblings in collaborative media – a note will be added that the content creators are siblings in real life in such cases.

The number of sibling sets in the tournament will be determined by the number of individual submissions.

If you have any questions about whether a certain dynamic CAN be submitted, please ask! If there are any grey areas in the categorization, they will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

As per MCYTblr tradition, voter fraud, bribery, and propaganda is allowed. Just DON'T BE TOXIC.

The mod will not be playing fair. Please tag this blog if you want everyone to see your propaganda.

The mod also has the final right to decide which nominations go in the poll, but they will only interfere with the nominations if they have to.

If a dynamic is nominated under the Canonical Honorary category, please submit at least one piece of evidence from the source material to prove they are Canonical Honorary siblings.

The number of nominations for each dynamic will only be revealed once nominations are closed. If you want to check if a certain dynamic has been nominated (yet), you may ask that.

We are almost four weeks into this hell and people still don’t GET IT and it makes me want to pull my hair out, quite honestly. It’s so frustrating that people don’t care to understand why war with Hamas is a necessity because their antisemitism gets in the way. That they are so quick to believe Israel is out there, putting it’s soldiers on the line just to what? Kill more Palestinians? For sport? Like running to the mamad everyday several times a day is fun? Like Israelis are to blame for the fact that Hamas doesn’t care about it’s people enough to safeguard them? Let’s not even get started on the way Jews are being targeted in the diaspora. Way to prove, in your rabid antizionistic fervor, why Israel should and must exist. Jews are safe from persecution nowhere else. You don’t have to post this, I just needed to vent…

TBH, it's not even a necessity, it's just a reality. Hamas has been firing rockets without pause at Israel since Oct 7.

That's an act of war.

It has breached Israel's territory.

That's an act of war.

It did both those things to carry out a massacre of over 1,400 people, while also kidnapping 242 people.

Those actions constitute not just acts of war, they're also war crimes, and crimes against humanity.

That's just reality, and ALL of it was chosen by Hamas. Despite the ceasefire that existed on Oct 6 between Hamas and Israel. Despite Israel providing Gaza with internet, cellular services, 500 daily trucks of aid, water, electricity, fuel and more. Despite tens of thousands of Palestinian workers allowed to enter Israel daily to make more money than they could in Gaza.

It's also a choice by Hamas not to surrender. If they did, if they stopped firing rockets at Israel and returned the hostages, if they agreed to disarm, the war would be over in that moment. Instead, Hamas has declared they're committed to more such massacres in the future ("Al-Aqsa flood" is what Hamas calls the massacre):

People who call for an immediate ceasefire are basically calling on Israel to surrender to Hamas, and sit and wait for the next massacre. It's supporting the intended genocide that Hamas would carry out if (when) it has the means to.

If Israel, a nation still in mourning, not even having had the ability to fully process the trauma of Oct 7, went to fight Hamas in Gaza despite the obvious understanding that even more Israelis, even more young people, would die, that says a lot about the lack of choice that Israelis feel in this matter.

I just watched hollow mind and my mind is running wild with ideas I thought of 

I like to think that belos and his brother came from a very well off family and the witch was a rebellious bad girl 

which is cool because her relative eda started the bad girl coven 

anyway he was a kind boy that loved animals he would often drag his brother

 out of the house with out permission to play in the near by forest he wanted adventure and he found that adventure the day they found the witch 

she loved how he was kind to her even thought everyone else was scared and wanted her to be executed so she latch on to the only person that was on her side in the strange new world she was in where everyone wanted her dead

 she took him flying and told him about all the different creatures and places she had seen 

he showed her how to dance and she learned how to wood carve from him I

I think Karl would be the next Alice his mom returned home from her adventure and grew up then had a kid who was Karl 

He grew up listening to his mother’s stories then when he he got older he fell down a hole and just like Alice found himself in a magical world and rolled with it

Everyone thinks he’s weird because he doesn’t know about stuff that’s common knowledge 

His mother never told him she was Alice so he thinks he doesn’t have a destiny because of that he is very secretive and he try’s to hide it from everyone because he thinks that if he were ever to be found out he would be expelled 

In his free time and during weekends he disappears for long stretches of time so that he could look for ways back to his home 

The reason why he writes everything down is because when he finds a way home he wants to remember his friends and have something other then his memory as proof of everything he’s experienced 

If he knew he had a destiny he would be eager to fulfill it and take it very seriously he would be a royal but because he doesn’t know and is an out side observer he sees how messed up the system is 

When he finds out about his mom being Alice and that he has a destiny he would be like Maddie someone that likes the destiny they have but believes everyone should get to choose if they follow there destiny or not

Biography:

It's hard having such a strong interest in the weird. You try and fit it into every conversation because you just need to share it with someone else. That's how I was about amusement park rides.

Not in the normal way kids talk about rides, about how scary they are, or the fun in riding them, I liked picking them apart. How did each bend play into the ride's movement? What kind of track did they use? How did it operate? Were there any animatronics? What kind? What were the backup plans in case of failure?

Asking those kinds of questions doesn't make you a lot of friends in elementary school though. Even when you try and design your own rides with their racecar tracks and legos.

Adults didn't get it either. Why couldn't I have normal interests? Why don't you go play with the other kids instead of bugging me?

As I searched for new rides to dissect, I quickly decided if anyone in the world would get my interests would be the same man adding to the list with every new piece he crafted. Theodore Peterson, the engineer known around the world, an engineer raised from our very town.

I was obsessed. I had posters of his rides on my walls that I'd likely never get the chance to actually ride, I tried to imagine how he made his blueprints, and how he thought of his plans. By all accounts, I wanted to be Theodore Peterson. I'd tape paper mustaches to my face at school and copy his posture. It didn't help how little I fit in with others, if anything it made it worse, even my parents raised an eyebrow to my behavior. But I didn't care. He understood me. I knew it. And when I learned he'd be returning to Ravenbrooks to build an incredible amusement park for us? I practically fainted.

I remember getting home that night. I was still shaking. I was freezing from whatever that gunk was we'd hidden in. I needed a bath, and to scrub my tongue raw. But I couldn't yet, I was too angry. Even covered in god knows what and slightly singed from what I can only imagine was meant to be a lethal amount of electricity I barely avoided, I grabbed at my walls and tore.

I felt so betrayed. Sure most of the town had gained a slight hatred for Mr. Peterson after Lucy Yi died, but I defended him. I believed it was just a tragic accident. There's no way a person could really be so awful right?

Sure the first time I met him wasn't perfect, he was weirder in person in a way that had seemed almost scary. But- that's just because I was younger, right? A lot of adults seem scary when you're little.

Every excuse I could think of was spent on this man, so desperately clinging, even this morning to the idea that he couldn't really be evil. He couldn't have kidnapped Nicky, not my hero, not the man who built a roller coaster into his house.

My vision went blurry with tears. How could he do this? How could he be such a monster? How could I have fallen for his facade?

And what did such an imaginative man do to my friend?
