Before I log out I will say that of course the sexist ideas in the church don’t come from nowhere. They come from Satan trying to poison the body of God duh
Guys, not all of us are smart enough to be having these moral conversations on a fandom site of all places.
I see your 'hot takes' posts and how you have to back pedal in the notes because people smarter and more eloquent than you responded with reasonable counters.
Like, if your 'hot takes' involves meme language and internet slang, maybe don't post it, because you obviously didn't think long and hard about what you wanted to say or if it was even going to be seen by anyone.
You look juvenile and/or unhinged, sorry.
Private Eye might be throwing stones from their own glass house, but I still enjoyed this:
[Text reads: Book review - Nevermind by Neil Gaiman. Strange, otherworldly tale in which a weird, gothic author is accused of inappropriate sexual behaviour over several decades. Mysteriously, by some dark magic, nobody in the real world pays any attention to the allegations, everyone looks the other way, and strangely cannot see anything wrong with the writer's conduct. What on earth is happening? Could it be that sinister forces, i.e. vested interests in publishing, film, television, theatre etc, would rather this story disappeared for good? Yes.]
Won't it be a terrible waste of the money he must be paying Edendale to bury this story if we all refuse to drop it?
I don’t know how to break this to some of you but someone being cringe is not a crime. It’s not even a cancellable offense. Too many of y’all have lost your sense of whimsy and now give off the energy of the popular kids in school who side eyed and scoffed at anyone different. Hiding behind the veil of online anonymity has made some of you really mean for no good reason

On these pages, I was writing the story. I made little sketches throughout. I was visualising how they would interact and also sketching out possible cover art ideas.
This story was originally a cutesy, light-hearted story where the protagonist cleanly defeats the villain, but now that I know the REAL truth about demons, this story will have a more serious tone.
The villain (Cyrus) is going to be so much more insidious.

i do think a lot of online disability spaces have adopted anti-effort/anti-progress/anti-recovery stances similar to mental health spaces in the early to mid 2010s and it’s worrying me because we’re STILL trying to undo the harm that was done by that line of thinking when it came to mental health.
i’m not doing the whole “pull yourself up by your bootstraps and try harder!!!” shit that we’ve all heard before but i do think there is a fine line between “allow yourself to rest when you need it” and “if something is difficult to do then just don’t do it because You Deserve To Relax!!!!”
struggling is part of having a disability unfortunately and encouraging people to completely avoid any discomfort that could improve their quality of life in the name of relaxation and “being gentle with ourselves” is going to prove extremely detrimental to peoples lives in the long run
Daily Doodles- Day 135- 29/08/24
A nature pattern dress! I've been wanting to experiment with blending my doodling with realism. This little doodle was a doodle (heh) of one of those ideas.

Keep posting and reblogging the negative stuff about Neil Gaiman, y'all. Don't let his PR firm and their army of bots control the story.

Maddie and Jack Fenton are decent (I would even argue good) parents and fanon cannot change my mind despite how much it seems people want 'Neglectful Fenton Parents' to be canon
