✨ My little cultist: tadpoles are magic ✨

You didn’t ask me to, but I did it anyway! Let me introduce you to the pony versions of my favorite BG3 companions.

Ponyshart At first I wanted to give Shadowheart a cutie mark in the form of the spear of Selune, but in the end I simplified it to a lunar eclipse. I think it suits her no matter which path she chooses.

Shadowheart: a light gray-lilac unicorn with large green eyes, bangs and a long dark braid. She has long ears, fluffy hooves and her belly is a little lighter than the rest of her body. Her face seems thoughtful, and her pose is in motion. Her cutie mark is a lunar eclipse.

PonyWyll with Ponyzora // Wyll with dreadlocks>>>

Wyll: A coffee-colored pegasus with a strong build. He has scars on his face and a spot that looks like a goatee. His hooves and belly are a lighter color. His hair and tail are braided into large dreadlocks. The wings appear fluffy and are cream and red-orange in color. One of his legs is bent in a heroic pose. His cutie mark is a blade with a symbolic yellow circle and red patterns behind it, very vaguely reminiscent of fire.

The same image of Wyll without wings, but now with Mizora, who flew in and almost lay on top of him, pointing him somewhere forward with her hoof. Mizora is a small blue pegasus with a red mane representing her signature hairstyle. She has four horns and wings spread in flight. She smiles slyly. Her hind legs dangle in the air, one higher than the other. The tail is like a devil's. Her cutie mark is a contract set against a backdrop of an inverted red pentagram and fire-like patterns.

Ponystarion

Astarion: A white and slightly purple vampire pegasus with red eyes and long ears. His face is shown in three-quarter view and he smiles mischievously. His physique is slightly slimmer and more elongated than Will's. He has a short white mane and a long tail. Small light purple stars can be seen on his tail. His belly and hooves are also white. The wings are membranous, purple in color and when folded. Light gray scars can also be seen on the wings. His cutie mark is a constellation in the shape of a spilling glass of wine, against a dark background with stars. The stars of the constellation are white, except for one of them behind the drop of wine, which is red.

Wyll w/o wings

The image of Wyll we already saw above, but without the wings to make his cutie mark more visible.

I thought that it would be more suitable for the Hero to be a pegasus. I also wanted his cutie mark to very vaguely hint at a connection to Hell.

Astarion w/o wings

The same image of Astarion, but without the wings so that his cutie mark can be better seen. In the corner there is also a small schematic image of his wings in a spread, on which the scar of the hellish contract is clearly visible.

Astarion was the most difficult one. I thought for a long time about where I could put this damn scar and decided that it would be best to place it on the wings, because wings are in some way a symbol of freedom and all that. Of course, I don’t think that such a mark would have worked later in the ritual. But at least it looks good and symbolic. I also thought that his wings were so badly damaged that Astarion thought he would never be able to fly again, which is probably not true.

The cutie mark thing wasn't easy either. I wanted to have a star pattern and I couldn't think of anything better than trying to depict a constellation. I also think that his cutie mark was formed before he met Cazador, so it shouldn't contain anything related to that bastard and his influence. In the end, I settled on a light-hearted glass of wine, with just a little drop of sinisterness in it, literally, huh. Actually not very happy with the result, I should have done it better.

If you have any ideas or thoughts regarding pony versions of these or other BG3 characters, feel free to share. I think it's fun to create crazy crossovers like this and I'm interested in what others think about it.

Hello Morpherine nation! The holidays will soon be here, so let's have a little fun and share the love with a gift exchange!

This will be a Secret Santa sort of deal -- Sign up will be open until November 20th. On the next day, participants will be contacted via DM with the name and requests of another giver. Who is exchanging with who will remain secret until the gift posting period.

All gifts should be notably a finished work. It doesn't have to be your master work by any means, but please be mindful and not just give a quick sketch or two paragraph drabble, etc.

If you don't think you'll be able to finish your gift in time PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP so I can find a replacement giver. There's an option to apply for a potential emergency giver in the sign up form.

Event timeline:

-SIGN UPS HERE - Open until November 20th

-Assignments go out November 21st

-December 19th I'll be checking in with everyone. Feel free to let me know if you're finished with your gift ahead of this. Please try to let me know before this if you no longer can make a gift.
