So last night I had a dream abt Hazbin Hotel where Alastor just completely broke down.

I don’t remember all of the details, but what I do remember is that him and Charlie were walking down the streets. I don’t know why exactly, but Alastor was kind of upset abt something? Like, upset to the point where he was actually having trouble keeping the whole smile thing up.

Eventually, Charlie catches on and asks him what’s wrong. This man pulls her into like an alleyway or smth and starts BREAKING DOWN. I’m talking genuine tears, his smile is just gone, he’s leaning against the wall for support and trying to cover his face, etc.

Charlie was surprised at this. I can’t remember why Alastor was so upset, or if he told Charlie what was wrong, but regardless, Charlie gladly comforted him.

Ik this might not be the most canon thing that can happen with Alastor, ik he’s supposed to be like a big spooky evil overlord

But goddamn what I would GIVE to have Charlie and Alastor bond like this to the point where Alastor trusts her enough to show her his true emotions <333

All of Me Wants All of You

Pairing: Eddie Munson X fem!Reader

Summary: You and Eddie get married after he finally graduates high school.

Warnings: Some crying and cursing, minor season 4 spoilers, brief mentions of Eddie being in the hospital

You and Eddie were both sure of the fact that you wanted a small wedding. The two of you settled on this the day he had been released from the hospital after being attacked by those demobats.

Currently, you were sitting in front of the vanity you had in your room. You were finishing up your makeup, a soft smile on your face as you continued to get ready.

You were more than happy to get to spend the rest of your life with Eddie, especially after everything that happened in the upside down this year. You had been so afraid that you would loose him, but he continued to fight, for you, for Dustin, for everyone.

And all he wanted was to make sure that he spent every single day by your side and not dead in some freaky dimension.

He had managed to cheat death and actually graduate your high school. You were incredibly proud of him, but he was tired of hearing you say that, his cheeks blushing bright red every time you brought it up.

And luckily for him, Nancy was able to pull some strings with local government, clearing his name and getting them to drop all charges.

You looked down at your engagement ring one more time then got up, straightening out your dress as you stood up. You then headed out of your bedroom and down the main stairs of your house, where your father was waiting for you.

“Ready?” your father asked with a smile as he held out as his arm to you.

You linked your arm around his, “Of course.” you said with a smile.

Neither you nor Eddie wanted an entirely traditional wedding, so you didn’t carry a bouquet and the ceremony would be performed by one of your fathers long time friends who had recently become a priest. And you were having Dustin, Eddie’s best man, give you your rings.

Your father then lead you to the backyard then down the isle Eleven and Max had created last minute. Eddie was wearing a tux, something you never thought you’d see him wear. He looked so handsome and you couldn’t wait until the ceremony was over so that you could kiss him again.

The second Eddie saw you start to walk down the isle, his eyes began to tear up. You looked  absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. He had no idea if he would be able to muster up the courage to actually speak at all once you reached him.

But, he would try his best, for you.

You smiled at him as he took your hands in his, “You look really handsome.” you whispered to him as goosebumps started to appear on your arms.

Neither of you could believe that this was actually happening or that any of this was real.

He blushed, “You look so beautiful, sweetheart.” he said, grinning at you and making you blush.

Your fathers friend then started the ceremony and while he spoke, your eyes never Eddie’s and his eyes never left yours.

And before you knew it, it was time for you two to read your vows. You had decided that Eddie would go first since he was a bit better at public speaking.

He still keeps one of your hands in his as he speaks, “(y/n), you are half of my soul. You could take away all of my senses and I’d still be able to find you,” he starts, taking a deep breath in an attempt to keep his tears at bay, “You’ve been by my side through it all and I truly can’t thank you enough for that.” he told you.

You could tell that he was incredibly nervous so you rubbed your thumb against the back of his hand to comfort him.

He smiled at you briefly then continued on with his vows, “I love you more than anyone I’ve loved before and I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving you, even in death,” hearing him say that made you burst into tears as you had almost lost him two months ago, “I don’t want to start crying more than I already am, so I’ll just say a couple more things. I love so fucking much and I’m glad that I’ll get to have you by my side for the rest of our lives.” he said, finishing his vows.

“Fuck.” you muttered to yourself, feeling a bit embarrassed that you were crying in front of so many people, the curse word you had said making everyone chuckle.

Eddie softly wiped your tears away for you and wordlessly encouraged you to start reading your own vows.

You took a deep breath then started to talk, “I’m not the best a public speaking so I’ll make this short. Eddie, you are my favorite person in the whole world and I adore so many things about you. I adore how you are always able to make me laugh. I adore how you always know how to comfort me. But most of all, I adore you. You are more then I could ever want in a friend and in a lover. I love you more then words could ever explain, I promise.” you told him, your eyes rarely leaving his own.

And although your vows were short, they still made Eddie sob. He cried every time you reminded him of how much he meant to you. You wiped his tears away for him and then sent a comforting smile his way.

“(y/n) (y/l/n), Do you take Edward Munson to be your husband?” the priest asked as he gestured towards your soon to be husband.

“I do.” you said confidently, a bright smile on your face.

“And Edward Munson, do you take (y/n) (y/l/n) to be your wife?” the priest asked, now gesturing towards you.

“I do!” Eddie basically screamed, causing everyone to laugh again.

Dustin then stepped out from his spot next to Eddie and handed your ring to Eddie. His hands shook as he took the ring from his young friend and slipped it onto your ring finger.

And once your ring was on, Dustin handed you Eddie’s ring. You grinned at him again as you slipped the ring onto his own finger, a look of true love in your eyes.

The moment the rings hit your skin, you couldn’t help but look down at them. They were simple silver bands that had each other’s initials engraved in them.

“By the power vested in me and the state of Indiana, I know pronounce you husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride!” The priest happily said as he began to clap.

Eddie effortlessly slid his arm under your back and dipped the two of you down as he kissed you. You couldn’t stop yourself from smiling as you kissed him back, you were just so happy.

“I love you.” you whispered to him before pressing another kiss to his soft lips, he smelled like some fancy cologne you knew Steve had probably given him, the thought of this making you smile once more.

“And I love you, Mrs. Munson.” he murmured against your lips, causing your skin to heat up.

And once the two of you had pulled away from each other’s lips one last time, Eddie scooped you off of your feet and began to run to where the kids had set up the party.

On the way there, you smiled and softly chuckled as you stared up at your husband. And to you, your future was looking pretty fucking good.

I feel like I don't have the spoons for this, nor the understanding of real-life PTSD enough to explore it, but I feel like it's worth examining Jayce's arc for signs of PTSD. Much has been made of the canonical mental illnesses and PTSD of characters like Jinx, and I've mentioned that I think Jayce might have generalized clinical anxiety, but I think it's worth looking at how much of his behavior might be PTSD related even before he goes to the Anomaly future.

Some possible places I'd look:

Jayce has been getting fed paranoia by Marcus and by the tension that is being deliberately ratcheted up by Silco and Jinx. Yes, he says awful, bigoted things to Viktor on the bridge, but it is worth pointing out that he's not saying this in a vacuum, there are people in proximity to him deliberately stoking his paranoia and that of the city for their own ends, literally Marcus is gaslighting him actively by telling him the Firelights are responsible and the best way to keep people safe is shut down the bridge.

The fight in the Shimmer Factory gets more wild to me every time I watch. Jayce should not be there for so many reasons but one of them is Jayce is not a fighter. I think his video game counterpart sort of obscures this, but unlike Vi who has spent her whole life fighting AND in prison for years, Jayce has never, ever wielded that hammer before. He didn't even have it until the day before! And suddenly he's up against the Shimmer-infused berserkers who are some of the toughest fighters in the whole show. He almost gets his head cut off, if not for features he built into the hammer like weightlessness and the shield, he'd be dead, and then he makes what I call the, "Jayce is Making Bad Decisions" Face (I need to make a gifset of this face btw, he makes it a couple times, also while resurrecting Viktor).

Ok I might make fun of the Jayce is Making Bad Decisions face, BUT on a serious note, it's clear the Fortiche animators are doing a superb job showing someone who has gone into "Adrenaline Mode". REAL fighters do not want adrenaline. Adrenaline fucks up your reaction times and makes you shaky and turns off your higher brain functions. I've been in a fight when fear adrenaline kicks in and you just start wildly swinging to get people away from you and that is exactly what happened when Jayce's face got scrunched up and he started shooting wildly, he just wanted to stop the threat because he's never fought before, unlike Vi. And then he kills a kid and the triumph of his first fight against an uncomplicated enemy just dies and btw, never returns except in that moment fighting more Shimmer berserkers and Renni but those are clear self defense and there's no triumph in it.

BRO gets HIT BY A ROCKET, has a pure panic response leaving living people who need his help in the chamber to save Viktor, and he doesn't go back as far as we know.

Ok so the things that me, as not an expert would be curious to note as possible PTSD responses would be:

Jayce not leaving the lab after the attack except 1) to go to the funeral (where he's attacked AGAIN) 2) to comfort Caitlyn after Mel basically tells him to, 3) to make weapons for Caitlyn's team specifically to keep a small group of people safe, not arm an entire army. Besides that, it looks like he spends all his time holed up in the lab, even after Viktor is gone, because that's his safe space and I think I read once that PTSD has a way of shrinking your world down to just the people and places you trust.

Dragging that hammer around with him in the Anomaly future. Look, Jayce is a city boy, he has no survival instincts, but it wasn't just a bad idea because it broke his leg, it was actively detrimental to his chances of survival because lugging an anvil around drained him of water and calories. Bro had a lot less chance of survival with it, but he thought he was surrounded by zombies (he wasn't, they're all dead and they're all controlled by Viktor, we learn he was never in danger, though I don't blame him for that). But that could also be a PTSD response, his actual emotional support hammer.

Clamming up and not talking to Mel about what happened because she's not in his circle of trust anymore, it's more or less shrunk down to just Viktor (once he can save him) and Cait, maybe.

Ok as usual this got longer than I intended by just... some things that are in my mind right now.
