This is me ranting about the season and spoilers

I understand that they want miguel to win because he is like the main character and it started with him and all that.

But, what about robby?

If any of the spoilers and leaks are true then he is fucked.

They kept repeating how this is his last chance at something big, how Robby probably has no future.

He is not applying for college, and the last big thing he can do is the sekai taikai.

the whole plot line of being distracted by tory was valid for like the first two times then it got ridiculous, they were putting robby down just make miguel seem better and stronger, which he may be or is even.

The fact that the whole team kept on talking behind robby's back and insulting and saying Miguel should have been captain is not fair.

We all saw robby win the fight for the right of being captain fair and square, he didn't cheat and miguel was not injured or out of focus, no both were perfectly fine.

Yet the team is acting like robby stole the spot of captain or something.

And then you have spoilers saying he is not winning (which I hope is not true).

Robby deserves much better than this.

They built his character up so well, only for them to humiliate him, make him seem incompetent, that he should not have been captain, all to make miguel seem better?

I don't mind miguel being better, but it doesn't have to be on the expense of robby.

And don't get me started on the zara raping robby because that was so unnecessary and horrible he truly didn't deserve it and the way they made it seem like he was cheating on tory, no he did not!

It is not like he can't fight, robby is one of the best fighters in the show, it would make sense if he won, and it won't be surprising at all.

It is not like axel is a god of sorts, he is not undefeated, he is just really strong and capable, but robby is one of those people who can spot their opponent's weakness, and you can't convince me that axel doesn't have one.

He was raped by zara, and he doesn't even realise that he is a victim.

People will call Katara the mom friend and ignore the REAL mom of the gaang

Blows my mind how the writer of cobra kai hayden had said that there was no sexaual assault like um no he couldn't consent so shut the fuck up

I love Miguel and Johnny but what’s crazy about this scene is that Johnny wasn’t there for Robby. Johnny gave pep talks to Devon, to Sam, to the team as a whole (as well as disparaging the team as a whole). But he did not have a single moment alone with Robby where he encouraged him or supported him at all. He called Miguel the team anchor in front of Robby, praised Miguel’s performance in front of Robby. And there’s nothing inherently wrong or incorrect with that, but why does the show keep trying so hard to convince me that father/son bonding moments happened between Robby and Johnny when they just didn’t.

You know, if the writers didn't want the Robby/Zara situation being portrayed as SA, they shouldn't have written a SA scene between them in the first place. Sucks to suck.

You're a 100% right. It does seem like they wanted relationship drama and picked SA before anyone could say anything else. It's framed like 'which girl will he choose' and more misery for Tory when it is a traumatic thing for him. It's disgusting.
