A short spoopy AU for A Spoopy Month:D (Inspired by @stellar-collective)

(After Reginald and Pheonix left the Agency to join Zor, they mysteriously go missing. Pheoness, not knowing what happened to the two, searched for them for months. After no luck, she thinks they’ve been killed by Zor, until the remains of her old friend appears behind her.)

The grip on her arm was surprisingly strong and possessive. The adrenaline kicked in and was ready to strike the figure that has a hold on her, but the familiar purr of his voice made her blood run cold

“Luchadora como siempre, ¿eh? Hola, vieja amiga”

With wide eyes, she turned her head towards him, everything about him was off, the change in clothing to the slightest new scar on his eyebrow. “¿Mi grúa?” She whimpered, tears threatening to flow down her face. She wanted to hug him so bad, to feel him in her arms again. But something was off. “No, tu cuervo ahora..” he sighed. The look in his eyes had the same concern and longing, but there was something else she couldn’t explain “Explica. Ahora.” she demanded, trying to mask the worry in her voice

“¿Qué hay que explicar? Sabes de primera mano lo horrible que nos ha tratado la agencia. Entonces, Pheonix y yo hicimos otros planes.”

Her heart almost stopped as her eyes focused on the familiar Z logo on his chest. They were in Zor’s hands now “¡¿ESTÁS LOCO?! ¡REGINALD, ZOR HA INTENTADO MATAR A MILLONES DE PERSONAS!” Pheoness took his hands in hers, his skin felt rough under hers. “¡Esto no es como tú o pheonix! ¡¿No ves que Zor es cien por ciento pura malicia?!” Reginald lets out an exhausted sigh, resting his forehead against hers “Al menos nos aprecian.” He grumbled silently, looking up into her eyes “Mira, sabes lo cruel que es la agencia… ir a misiones, arriesgarse a no volver a ver a tus amigos y familiares. Y todo para mantener este trabajo sin recompensa e ingrato. No quiero que eso te haga daño o algo peor. Por favor, cariño, eres una de las únicas personas que quiero mantener en mi vida.” She could see that beneath whatever Zor did to corrupt her Reginald, there was still his protective and loving nature behind it. He was right, working at the agency was extremely crappy, but to join a cruel organization bent on taking over the world to replace that?! It was either her morals or her family.

REGINALD, ZOR HAS TRIED TO KILL MILLIONS OF PEOPLE!“ Pheoness took his hands in hers, his skin felt rough under hers. "This is not like you or Pheonix! Don't you see that Zor is one hundred percent pure malice?!” Reginald lets out an exhausted sigh, resting his forehead against hers “At least they appreciate us.” He grumbled silently, looking up into her eyes “Look, you know how cruel the agency is… go on missions, risk never seeing your friends and family again. And everything to keep this job, unrewarded and unthanlful.don't want that to hurt you or anything worse. Please, honey, you are one of the only people I want to keep in my life” She could see that beneath whatever Zor did to corrupt her Reginald, there was still his protective and loving nature behind it. He was right, working at the agency was extremely crappy, but to join a cruel organization bent on taking over the world to replace that?! It was either her morals or her family.

Reginald: sorry, Roxana. No can do. Phoenix never lets anyone touch them but they fell asleep on my shoulder so I'm staying here as long as I can.

When I first started playing ieytd, I remember being SO FED UP with Reginald. Like what do you mean I don’t get a vacation?! What do you mean you can’t make an antivirus?!

It went on like that for a few missions until I got to Winter break. He said something about getting a vacation and me, being the teasing menace I am, said “Handler, if I can’t go on a vacation, we’re going on a date. You’re paying.

And then I considered first class our date without him actually being there

And that’s how I met your father, Pheonix!

HEYA! Remember that time months ago when I said I’d be hosting an animated project? No? Well! These are some sneak peaks at the multi animator project my team has been making: “Haven’t you noticed I’m a star?”
