They were in space. On a Zor space shuttle. Trying to stop a weapon that could destroy cities in a single blast. So much to take in in such little time. But they had to focus, it was necessary, because even one tiny slip up could have the fate of the world in the hands of Zoraxis. The two agents were successful in getting on the space shuttle safely and without being identified. A big canon-like machine pointed out of the main part of the shuttle was probably the Death Engine they were sent to destroy. “Agents, you need to find a way to eliminate that Death Engine, millions of lives are depending on it.” Reginald’s voice echoed in both Pheonix and Pheoness’s ears. The two searched their quarters, trying to obtain any info about this lethal weapon, but was cut short by an ominous countdown “Agents? Is that a countdown…? What is happening-“ before he could finish, the countdown hit zero and a powerful red beam fired out of the laser, hitting Earth with tremendous force. The impact from the beam violently shook their shuttle, only static came from both of their earpieces. “Reginald….? REGINALD?! Pheoness called out in a shaky cry. Was the communications cut short? Or was it his life that was cut short? Either way, the agents have now witnessed the full power of Zoe’s death Engine. Pheonix put a reassuring hand on her shoulder before they heard a female voice on the speakers. Whoever it was had a slight Russian accent. “Zor always puts me with the newbies…” she sighs “Well, you’ve probably heard of me but I’m commander Solaris. You better get out of there. I don’t think your shuttle will take another blast, it would collapse.” Agent Pheoness sighs “That ain’t good…I feel like living for another few decades.” The two gather info on the shuttle and its technology. They would get out of this confined shuttle and not risk dying, but there was a conveniently placed barrel of radiation just outside their door. Opening it would mean certain death. Fortunately, they were able to work out some of the mechanisms of the shuttle like the gravity controls and used them to activate a robotic arm from outside the shuttle. Finally! A way to destroy this machine once and for all! Their reassurance slowly fades as they hear Commander Solaris’s voice on the speakers once more. “Apparently, Zor’s got some info on you, AGENTS!” Oh crap, Zor knows they’re here. They know the two want to destroy the Death Engine. Commander Solaris let out a sinister laugh as she controlled a robotic arm of her own, one that was holding another barrel of radiation. Honestly, how does Zoraxis get this much radiation like people just hand it out?! The robotic arm whipped back “Catch..”
