(Nothing really happens in Jet Set or Eaves drop besides the two getting into some chaos and Pheoness getting poisoned by the death by chocolate)
Warnings: Violence, alcohol use
The duo were FINALLY able to sneak into the Wine cellar of Juniper’s mansion. The gathering in the ballroom was so lively that even a few floors under they could hear muffled chatter and music. “I told you it was on the bottom floor! The Wine cellars are ALWAYS on the bottom floor!” Pheoness scoffed “Well how was I supposed to know?! If this dang mansion was put in the sea, people would mistake it for a whale!” Pheonix retorted back. The two bickered like young siblings until a swift fist to the face sent Pheonix stumbling backwards. Pheoness quickly grabbed the figure’s wrist, flinging them into the ground. The person on a ground was a man who looked like he was in 40s. His almost pitch black eyes were filled with malice. “You two…” he hissed before sending a kick to Pheoness’s stomach. She yelped in pain and her grip on him loosened, allowing him to escape from her grasp. The strange man started bolting to the exit before Pheonix tackled him to the ground with a loud ‘thud’. Pheoness, recovering from the last blow, helps pin his arms down. The man was flailing around vigorously like an vicious cat, occasionally shouting for Juniper. If he got to loud or was able to escape, their whole cover would be blown. Fortunately, a good punch in the noggin from Pheonix knocked him unconscious. Pheoness, coughing softly, fist bumped Pheonix “Good work, kid.” She panted, clearly out of breath. “Put him in the box.” She points to a large crate in the middle of the wine chamber. The two slowly drag the unconscious body in the crate, making it near impossible to escape. Pheonix locks the main door of the wine cellar, barricading it well. He let out a slight wince in pain as the adrenaline started wearing off and clutched the eye that was slugged. Noticing this, Pheoness took his face gently in her hands, examining it. “You should probably get that eye checked out after this, it’s blackening already. That guy had a nasty left hook.” She said before letting go of his face. “I can’t really see out of it..” Pheonix admits sheepishly as he wraps a spare napkin around his swelled up eye like an eyepatch. “Reginald? We’re fine. We just had a quick….interruption.” Pheonix spoke into his earpiece “PHEONESS! DONT DO THAT!” He took an eye off of her for five seconds and she was chugging a bottle of wine with a tag that said “Juniper hated it.” wrapped around its top. “Screw Juniper, this is delicious.” She muttered, using her telekinesis to pass him another bottle “Take a drink yourself and we’ll get on with this mission.” Pheonix sighed and took the bottle, taking a swig of it.
“Gibson!” A familiar voice yelled through the communication systems. “Get me my regular with two glasses! And quickly!” Junipers voice had a hint of aggression and weariness to it. He was in a bad mood for sure, probably due to Pheonix ransacking through the Fabricator’s office. They take the two glass cups and put it in the transporter. Pheoness is tempted to put the bottle she was drinking in the chute to purposely annoy Juniper for the poisoned cake, but decided not to. It would probably blow their cover anyways. “Pheonix, this one has a tag that says ‘Be careful: last bottle.’ You think this could be it?” Pheonix examines the bottle carefully “It’s probably our best bet.” They put the bottle in the chute and send it to the ballroom, praying that it was the correct bottle. The silence was agonizing before they heard Juniper’s voice again “Thanks, Gibs. I needed this..” He sighs, a little calmer than usual before clearing his throat and reverting to his harsh tone “I need the mimic mask. Now.” The mimic mask! It’s somewhere in here, but where? The two search and drink, and search, but for once in their life, there were no clues. Juniper grew very impatient, sometimes even shouting into the intercom. “I don’t get it! We search every inch of this place, where is that mimic mask!?” She exclaimed, defeat was familiar to her before she met her found family, but this was the first time she felt it afterwards. Pheonix frowns softly when seeing her depressed state. He noticed that guy who attacked them, who they now know as Gibson, dropped his hat when they were fighting. The agent put it on his head, imitating the servant. Pheoness is confused by his goofy display, she cracks a smile, laughing softly. Phoenix accidentally dropped the hat, which the two didn’t mind, but they soon found out on the inside was a hidden paper, it was finally the clue they needed. “Yes!” She shouted “Now, let’s figure out what this-“ Pheoness’s joy was quickly replaced with fear as they heard an aggressive knock on the door. “Hey, Gibs! Is that girl dancer with you? We haven’t seen her and she’s supposed to preform in 10!” The two looked at each other, internally panicking. What were they supposed to do?! If they don’t respond, whoever’s behind the door would get suspicious. Pheoness sighs defeatedly, her heart pounding while she takes off her jacket, her white undershirt being revealed. “Stay out of sight.” She whispers to Pheonix before walking to the door, getting a bottle of wine as she does. Pheonix knew she has a plan, but what was it? Pheoness opens the door slightly, putting a strand of hair to cover her left eye. She is met by one of Juniper’s security and she tries to imitate the Fabricators accent. “Why, sorry. I just had to have a drink before I preform, it’s only tradition.” She purrs “Well, cmon, follow me. You need to change into your dress.” The security guard commands walking to the ballroom. She disconnects her earpiece so the sound of Reginald’s voice won’t blow her cover. “WHAT ARE YOU -?!” Phoenix exclaimed in a hushed whisper. “Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing. Find the mimic mask and get the briefcase.” She replied before following the security guard to the dressing room. Turns out, Pheoness can be an actress herself.
The dressing room was filled with beautiful outfits and garments. They looked extremely expensive as well, typical Juniper. An older woman was in the room “Oh, there you are! And I thought you weren’t going to show!” As soon as the woman started speaking, Pheoness instantly knew who it was. None other than the Fabricator herself! Pheoness had to hide her shock, for this is the first time seeing her in person. “Well, come now. Get into your dress. I still need to put your makeup on.” Dresses and heels weren’t really her style, but she couldn’t lie, her outfit was absolutely gorgeous. It was a blue satin dress, embedded with sapphires at her waist and hips. It was hard not to trip in it, but she had to admit she digs the new look. As the Fabricator was gently applying makeup to her face, Pheoness spoke up in a slight accent, since she had to hide her voice “Fabricator…is it normal to feel like you’re about to throw up your intestines before preforming?” The Fabricator let out a soft chuckle “Of course, dear. You just got a little stage fright, that’s all. I promise, you’re going to kill it out there.” She nods as The Fabricator steps back to admire her work “You look beautiful, darling. Absolutely stunning.” Pheoness looks down at herself, she’s never worn anything different from her regular suit and pants, but she doesn’t mind it. “Let’s get you out there..” She says, intertwining her arm with Pheoness’s. For being an evil genius, The Fabricator’s surprisingly more sweet and caring than she thought. Before they knew it, they were backstage, the ballroom mere feet ahead of them. The woman could feel her trembling at the mere sight of the crowd and her breathing growing unsteady. Pheoness just wanted to sneak back to Pheonix. She never asked for this. She felt The Fabricators other hand gently caresses her arm “It’s okay, dear. You’re alright. Take a deep breath. Here.” She places a blue mask in Pheoness’s hand, similar to the one she saw on Juniper’s jet, just without the x-ray vision. “Your own finishing touch, just let the rhythm of the music flow through you.” Pheoness’s muscles slightly loosen but she’s still shaking with nervousness as the lights of the ballroom fade into darkness. “That’s your cue, go get em.” As if it were some sort of nightmare, there she was. On the main stage of the ballroom, with the blinding spotlight on her, all eyes were on her and only her.
(It might be a day or two before I post the next part cause there’s gonna be like 3 or 4 parts:/
STOP IT
I’m gonna cry. Again. 😭😭😭
Pheonixes first thought when waking up were
Ugh! Todays cancelled, Five more minutes
wich was promptly followed by
Ow, just, ow
Then, finally:
fuck. oh shit OH FUCK IM STILL ALIVE!? AGAIN?!
God I really need to stop waking up like this…
This was the point they realized that the predicament they were in, well it was bad to say the least. They were trapped, bleeding out under who knows how much rubble of the unstable wreckage of a building probably still on fire from a massive explosion of a nuke, one which definitely should have killed them when the 32 storey death drop in a steal trap didn’t.
They checked their earpiece, and sent out a mental signal
[Crain…] they started, begging that their mental link to him was still working.
[please If you can hear me, I-I need you, bad. I’m alive. I’m still down here and I can’t see a world were I get out of here by myself. please give me a sign your getting this I… I don’t…]
They waited for a response, a sign, anything that would point to his signal being received…
A terrible silence was all that followed.
[Please, reg, I.. I don’t wanna die all alone, not like this.]
oh god please not like this
No answer, not even a sound.
They were on their own.
Reginald pov
it had been two days since the peace summit, two days without hearing from his agent, and it felt wrong. Usually he would wake up, check in on Phoenix, who would almost always keep him occupied with stupid stories and questions for hours, and if not that, he was going to a meeting to discuss strategy and next steps, always eager to figure out phoenixes next assignment. he always looked forward to their missions together, and always felt responsible when something went wrong.
when Phoenix was assigned the mission to destroy the death engine, well let’s just say he wasn’t exactly looking forward to it.
He knew, even with the escape pod detaching from the station before it detonated, and the training and the countless backup plans that would ensure Phoenix made it back definitely not unscathed but at the very least alive, he knew that their was a high chance that that would be their last mission together, and of course Phoenix knew this to, and stupidly, bravely, but mostly stubbornly, threw themselves headfirst into the mission without a second thought because they knew it needed to be done.
———————————————————————
On their way to board the death engine, Reginald could feel Phoenix fear through the mental link. It was weak, almost lost under the stronger feeling of determination, which was definitely there as well.
“Agent, I want to say something before you get up there”
A short pause came before phoenixes response
[has the mission changed sir?] he could hear mentally in his mind, his heart broke when he picked up the hopefulness in the link, they really didn’t want do this, did they?
“No, the plan hasn’t changed, I…”
They were about to do something highly discouraged by the agency, and slightly unprofessional by its standards, but he didn’t care, if this was their last mission, they wanted them to know.
“I think after all this time together, you don’t need to call me sir anymore agent.. “
Another pause, a much longer one..
[okay… but I’m not sure what other title to give you.. I can’t really think of a stand in for sir.. at least not right now, what did you have in mind?]
God am I really going to do this?
Sigh “agent, you know me far better than most, and you don’t even know my name, I think the time for formalities has came and gone. My name is Reginald Craine, and I think you deserve to know that about me before…”
Before what? They die, they part ways? They-
[before I get up there… thank you si.. I mean…]
God this is why isn’t it, this was a huge mistake
[thanks Craine, that.. well let’s just say that saying it means a lot is an understatement.. I’m sorry I can’t return the favour]
Reginald was confused.
“What do you mean?”
A somehow even longer silence came.
[I don’t… I don’t know who I am… I don’t remember my name… where i came from or, who i was before the agency… the last thing i can remember was waking up from getting my inplant put in and… well… I only know the minimal information thats on my file, agent #146, mute, acceptional on the feild… nothing else.. ]
Reginald was the one silent this time. He was processing this new info about his agent. And the more he realized, his agent knew more about him than basically anyone else in his life, and yet, he knew nothing about them.
“God… I’m so sorry Agent why didn’t you tell the agency?!? I… we could have helped you!”
His agent paused, Choosing his words carefully.
[no ones ever cared enough about me to ask, it never even remotely came up. most other agents don’t speak to their superiors unless they’re spoken to first, and well, they only ever speak to us when they need to, and most of the time, the agent just needs to nod and say “affirmative” and then, poof, their gone again. I’m honestly shocked about your openness to talking to me even when you’re instructing me during missions… you’re the.. never mind]
“I’m what?” He asked concerned feeling the strong wave of uncertainty and hesitation through the link.
[nothing Craine… sir… It’s not remotely important]
“Agent..” He began comfortingly, hoping the link would carry his feelings of guilt and shame over his the agency’s failure to his agent.
“You can’t remember your own name, that’s extremely important. please, you need help, and I will do everything in my power to help you. But I can’t do anything if you don’t talk to me. So drop the “sir” talk and tell me what’s going on.” He practically begged.
One last silence came over them before the agent took in a shaky breath and said
[you are the first one in my life who’s treated me like a person and not an asset and… I… ]
A wave of emotions carried through the link, relief, sadness, but mostly an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
[thank you Craine… for everything]
The agents ship landed at the death engine. They had managed to board the station without rising suspicion, and he was feeling quite proud. All seemed to be going well!
“All right agent now..”
until they heard a computerized voice on the other end of the ear piece. And a voice saying… brace for impact? And…
“Is that a countdown I’m hearing, but what could…”
Oh no.
“Oh my god, AGENT, ITS FIRING, YOU NEED TO-!”
A deafening explosion reverted through the earth. The ground violently shaking as the building shook. A massive earthquake broke through the earth, all phones were down, the line, silent. The last thing Reginald felt through the mental link, was desperation, and fear.
They tried to reach their agent through the link. barely retaining their composure.
“Agent… Agent do you copy?”
Silence
Suddenly they felt panic rise, an unexpected wave of desperation washed over them as they called out again, voice breaking.
“Agent come in… Agent do you.. agent please answer… oh god please no… AGENT?!”
They blinked back uninvited tears but still no answer…
They were on their own
OMG THIS CAME IUT IF NOWHERE AND ASCENDED MY SOUL😱😱
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE ART

Poor Reggie being smothered with work
but on the bright side, Pheoness has a little soft side for him💙💛
I honestly love their dynamic. They’re just so comforting with each other (And Phoenix in the background like 😃)
They are having much fun having a John Juniper marathon.
Also, if you’re asking why the heck they are in onesies, Phoenix found out about their meeting and promised he’d keep out of it if they wore them, he apparently didn’t keep his promise.
“I ONLY GAVE YOU A SMALL DRINK!”
She sighs muttering under her breath
“My husband is gonna kill me…”
Kai is wandering around the place, probably lost again, and finds an office with a door slightly open. He stops for a moment, considering just going about his day, but (being the slightly nosy person he is) decides some friendly conversation couldn't hurt.
He pushes the door open, "Anyone in here?"
@agent--shadow
”Who’s there?” Pheoness remarks, leaning back on her favorite spinney chair
Okay sooooooooooooooooooooooooo
My agent Phoenix and Pheoness go in the Matchstick and raven AU. I personally like this idea because it gives them so many options. Will they join them in destroying the agency? Will they not?
Or we could just straight up have a time travel incident where Pheonix and Pheoness, while trying to search Prism’s house, finds a machine that can take them to different dimensions and get into crazy shenanigans with your OCs
*gets down on one knee* I want to make a shared oc universe with you
I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!
(Not that way, I’ll just find a way for him to mitosis)
I don’t care which character gets him pregnant hell have an oc do it but someone please get him pregnant
This is such a cool OC!!!!! I absolutely adore the poofy hair🥰🥰🥰
Hello people of Tumblr, I wanna try and post art here and hopefully find my people here.
First of all, here's my main protagonist for my Undertale au I've been (painstakingly) working on, he has been through multiple redesigns over the past four years and since then he became my comfort OC.
