What if Sir Nighteye didn't die after the battle with Overhaul? Given the chance to live and make up for his poor behavior towards Izuku, how does he respond to learning how many people have treated Izuku so poorly? He does what any hero would do, he comes up with a plan to make sure that justice is served, and then executes it. “My boy, you single handedly defeated perhaps the strongest villain in Japan, saved Eri, and broke the chains of fate. There’s no one else who can do what you’ve done, and I promise you that I won’t stop working until you and everyone else recognize what an incredible hero you are.” Nighteye let his curiosity get the best of him, and looked into Izuku’s eyes and activated his quirk, attempting to peer into Izuku’s future. He almost lost concentration and stopped his quirk when he realized he was seeing Izuku’s fight with Overhaul play out in his mind rather than seeing into the future. ‘That’s never happened before.’ Nighteye focused and tried to look further ahead, but instead his vision moved further into the past.

“So I was thinking about where you should take me for dinner after I win…” Dekiru started. Shouta was going to ignore the obvious provocation, but there was something different about the hero’s voice. It lacked the distortion effect from the mask. Shouta let his curiosity get the better of him and looked over at the hero, wanting to see the look on his actual face when Shouta told him exactly where he’d be eating dinner tonight, only to be struck dumb by what he saw. He said the only thing that came to mind, and ended up saying it three times before he finally found the words to say anything else.

“Oh… fuck me.” He’s so hot!

“Oh. Fuck me! Oh crap, I just lost!

“Oh! Fuck me.” OMG I called the man of my dreams a circus monkey and told him to quit working with me!

Has anyone seen any fics where Izuku has La Brava's 'Love' quirk (or something very similar)? I think it'd make for an amazing premise.

Bakugo can still have an antagonistic relationship with Izuku because he hates the idea that Izuku might be giving him extra power and feels like Izuku's 'Love' means he thinks he's weak.

Izuku would still get into UA, maybe they have a 'Support' category or they let students apply as duos/teams (just like pro hero teams), and you could have Izuku providing emotional and quirk support to someone who needs it, like Shinsou, Shoto, Monoma, or Denki.

Then by the Sports Festival, Izuku comes into his own power as he learns to love himself, and in the Sports Festival he defeats Bakugo to win the whole thing, as his quirk stops powering up Bakugo and he finally accepts that he deserves to love himself.
