He was there.

Of course he was.

He always is.

And always will.

Until the day he won't.

But that was my choice wasn't it?

My choice to let him slip.

To let him fall.

To not fall with him.

To leave.

I left.

He broke down my barrier.

I let him in.

I trusted him.

He thought he was doing the right thing.

I knew he was doing the right thing.

So why did i let go.

Why did i feel so betrayed.

Why am i so angry.

This is my fault.

He trusted me.

He saved me multiple times.

And i betrayed that trust.

I dropped him.

He was my savior.

My solace.

My sane.

He laughed. I watched with a smile.

He talked. While i listened intently.

He wasn't mad. i was at myself.

He didn't deserve this.

He didn't judge me for my vengeful self.

My hunger.

He was pure luminosity.

I was the shadow that surrounded.

While he was near i turned to a dim light.

I got to share that feeling with him.

He thought we were close.

We were.

I can't go back.

But i wish i could say 'I'm sorry'.

I'm sorry, My savior.
