Eggs have been symbols of fertility, new life and resurrection in old Egypt, antique Greece and Rome. In spring the Romans and Greeks have colored eggs as presents and decorated their homes with them. Christians celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Green woodpecker. Our garden seems to be part of it’s area. This guy is daily coming along, looking for ants. It’s restless and nervous, shouting like a loud laughing human...
