Summary: You and Jay White are platonic best friends. Unexpectedly, you win the AEW TBS Women's Title at AEW Dynamite against Jade Cargill and celebrate with your best friend Jay.

You were lacing your black leather ring boots up, getting ready to have a TBS Women’s Championship match against the baddie, Jade Cargill. A large hand was placed onto your shoulder, your neck crooned back to only realize it was your platonic best friend, Jay White. 

‘’Hey Jay,’’ you greeted him in amusement, setting your ring gear aside as your arms extended widely for a hug. 

‘’Hi Y/N. This is your moment tonight, don’t forget that I will always be by your side, winner or loser.’’ He said, patting you on the back firmly. 

‘’Thank you, Jay. If it wasn’t for you, I don’t know where I'd be right now.’’ 

He chuckled, you received a large, bright smile from him that appeared upon his face. 

‘’Don’t mention it, it's what best friends are for.’’ Jay replied with hope trailed in his voice, giving you the extra support you needed to stay sane. 

‘’I might as well get ready to go out there and face Jade.’’ You slipped on your custom-made leather jacket past your broad shoulders, and tightened your ring boots up, thanking Jay again for the words of wisdom and exited out of your locker room and into the backstage area.  

You pressed your hand against your chest, your heart was racing in and out because you were nervous to face Jade. What if I mess this up? You thought.  

I got this.

‘’You have nothing on me.’’ Jade taunted you, acting like she was the better woman in this situation. 

She wasn’t. 

Trying to find some way, somehow to knock Jade off a few story blocks, you begin to build up the confidence boost within you. You cornered her into the turnbuckles of the ring, you just had to keep the boost alive for Jay. 

Thoughts were swarmed in the back of your mind, meanwhile you wrestled Jade Cargill to the ground. Your vision began to become a blurry focus, if you do not win tonight, then what’s worth living for? 

‘’Finish her!’’ one of the baddies from ringside yelled dramatically, demanding orders. 

You can’t lose tonight. 

You can’t. 

You got back up to your feet, right when she was about to pin you for the victory, you managed to get enough strength in you to hoist her up with full of her tights, and do a devastating powerbomb. 

‘’1, 2, 3! Ring the bell!’’ You heard the referee yell to the bell ringer to end the match. 

‘’Here is your winner, and new AEW TBS Women’s Champion, YN LN!’’ The announcer had announced your historical win against Jade Cargill. Something you’ll never forget, something big that you could tell your children on how you had unexpectedly won and slayed the baddie for good. Hugging the AEW TBS Women’s Championship to your chest, tears of joy began to appear in the creases of your eyes as Jay White ran to you from out of the backstage to join you in the ring to congratulate you. 

‘’YN, I am so proud of you! You did incredible out there, all I have to say is you deserve it!’’ He exclaimed into the mic, wrapping his arms around you as the crowd chanted the words: ‘’You Deserve It.’’ 

Your platonic best friend Jay raised your hand in the air, pointing at you. Gold and white colored confetti had dropped from the ceiling upon the two of you, you couldn’t be more grateful to have a best friend like Jay White himself. 

Heading backstage with Jay, the rest of the AEW Roster gave you a clap out and a very well known ‘’congratulations’’ on your win against Jade.  

The celebration to a brand new chapter in your life was just getting started.
