Thinking about posting a fan fic but scared at the same time. I'm a first time author, usually just relegated to editor for others. How do people have the fortitude to post stories? 😑

We took the 16 personally in class. It was a lot of fun, though I'd post the results here. 💗
I loved this movie as a child. Amalthea was my favorite character, her story was moving to me. Not to mention the unicorns, what little girl didn't love unicorns? Lol 🦄
But, I am always dreaming, even when I am awake; it is never finished.
THE LAST UNICORN (1982, Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin Jr.)
Druidry is based on what we can assume from Ancient Druid traditions. Which includes the religions that were around at the time as well. Now here's a very important thing, we don't know much because the Druids would pass things down through oral tradition, and the Christianization of the Celtic nations caused it to die.
What we know about Ancient Druids: Druid was a job position and status, they did a lot of things like advise, heal, and mediate conflicts.
Modern Druidry is not Ancient Druidry. We literally cannot be like the ancient Druids because we don't know enough about them and we also aren't going to be advising kings that's just- not happening.
Modern Druidry, however, is based in what little we know. No one is claiming it is exact, and if they are, they are wrong.
What we know about the culture where the druids existed: Holidays, clothing, religion (thanks to some Christian priests who wrote myths down during the Christianization of the nations), legends and other mythology not relating directly to religion, the Fair folk (aka Fae).
With what we know about Ancient Druids, and what we know about the culture itself, we have attempted to combine into the religion/spirituality of Modern Druidry. We call ourselves Druids not because we are advisors to kings, but because we are honoring the Ancient Druids that were once spiritual leaders and important members of society. What we follow is hopefully something close to what Ancient Celts would have followed.
Why? For a lot of reasons, but let's just go with the simple answer "because we like it" just like with any damn religion.
Dacshbun Facts
(Art by ktyon3 on Danbooru)
-The genus name for the Dachbun line is "Panemis Canis." Panemis comes from the old words "Panis" and "Panem, " which both mean bread. Canis is the genus name for canine pokemon. The rough translation for the Dachbun line is "bread dog"
-Dachbun have been with humans for centuries, and are diverged from the Stoutland line and are close relatives of the Slurpuff line
-Dachbun and Fidough were common Pokemon in Kalos until a civil war that left everyone hungry, when all of them were killed as they were accused of eating all of the bread
-Dachbun sustain themselves on foods with high sugar as that’s what the yeast in their body needs to keep thriving
-If you have a Dachbun who just had a litter of Fidough, you might notice they become more aggressive and clingy around them. This is completely normal behavior! Since Fidought hatch too soft for their own good, Dachbun mothers will cuddle around them because the warmth of their body hardens them out
-Dachbun are the most common evolved pets in Paldea
-Dachund were actually bred in a region near Paldea where they were used as hunting dogs. The word Dach actually means badger, since they were used to hunt mustelids (like Furret). They became friendlier and more bread like with the rise of agriculture
-Dachbun are slightly warm to the touch and make great cuddle buddies
-A lot of people assume they they're like Appletun, where you can pick the pieces off and eat them. Don't do this! That can harm the Dachbun, and unless it's cooked, they're not edible!
-Anyways, yeah. Dachbun can be cooked and eaten
-They pair really well with Growlithe and Arcanine because of their well-baked body and Growlithe/Arcanine's heat
-Despite their body looking and feeling like bread, they still have really short fur all over them (the yellow parts being the exception; the fur is obviously longer there)
-While it might look like their toes are just regular dog toes, those are actually holes in its body! The slits in their toes help them get rid of excess yeast that would cause air bubbles to form
-Like fidough, Dachbun still don't have great hearing, so they have a great sense of smell to make up for it!
(Fact post on Fidough under cut)
This actually is really nice to see. I've met a lot of people who fall for the homeopathic trap, you've got to be mega careful with this stuff.
Nothing more then your average girl who likes thrillers, books, and the occult. Other blog. https://at.tumblr.com/cephalapodsupport/e5blsbj500rf
