In the TV series “Dinosaurs,” there was one episode that featured a spoof of Unsolved Mysteries, with a trenchcoat-wearing Robert Stack dinosaur, who, even when he enters a room ordinarily, had a smoke machine billowing behind him.
He came to the attention to the attention of the Sinclair Family when he told them that Unsolved Mysteries actually only actually has four mysteries that they just use over and over, and thankfully, no one seems to notice. Except of late, one of their mysteries was, tragically, solved. Meaning they had to scramble to find a new one.
