A "Hobo Nickel" is the name given to American nickel coins that were hand-engraved by homeless people (hobos) during the Great Depression. Hobos used these engravings to increase the value of an ordinary nickel, creating small works of art that they could exchange for food, rides, or other services.
These engravings were often very detailed and creative, and the motifs varied. A common motif, as can be seen in the picture, was a skull. Today, Hobo Nickels are valuable collector's items, and some examples have sold at auction for thousands of dollars.
The picture here shows such a nickel redesigned with a skeleton motif. This is a part of the story that reflects creativity and survival during the difficult time of the Great Depression in the United States.

Iranian communist in 1979. After they brought Khomeini to power, he immediately massacred and exiled all communists. He then made all women, including feminists like this one, second class citizens
The criticism at the time was, "Communism was the rot that allowed Islamism to destroy Iran."
Yes this is a repost, as the other didn't have the speech marks so it looked like I was saying it.

Our Solar System from Voyager - December 14th, 1996.
"After taking spectacular pictures of our Solar System's outer planets, Voyager 1 looked back at six planets to take our Solar System's first family portrait. Here Venus, Earth, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune were all visible across the sky. Each, however, was just a small speck of light, dimmer than many of the stars in the sky."
