The people defending it are the ones doing it.
Look I hate when people say Marinette isn't a flawed character.
She is incredibly flawed! In Fact, the biggest flaw she has is put on display in Origins
(Spoilers for the faint of heart unable to handle it)
It is a TESTAMENT to her complex Character that this does not make her demonized by the rest of society.
Despite this flaw she is caring and kind, and goes out of her way to help others.
I am still waiting on the redemption arc where she makes amends from her mistake.

Did you just make Hiccup a locked character?
Every shitty live action Netflix adaption looks like this but worse
today my therapist told me that sometimes negative feelings like guilt, anxiety, self loathing, etc are like the hiccups. they’re uncomfortable, we don’t like them, there’s no way to turn them off; they can even be incapacitating for a while. we don’t always know where they came from or when they’ll go away, so sometimes instead of focusing on why we feel a certain way we need to get better at recognizing its temporary nature, keeping perspective, and enduring discomfort. i feel like a lot of self-improvement rhetoric is about pinpointing specific causes for negative thoughts/behaviors so you can eradicate them, but people with chronic mental illness really need to work on allowing themselves to experience these feelings without going into a downward spiral.
Adrien should get to kill his father
I think it’s important to notice, sweet cinnamon roll Adrien who is usually not very confrontational constantly defends Marinette and harshly confronts anyone who tries to harm her in any sort of way.
It’s become even more obvious now that they’re dating. Like, he balled up his fist when he heard Kim telling the story about how he pranked Marinette. He was so quick to finally end his friendship with Chloe once he heard the entire story.
And truth be told, this isn’t something he just started doing. Let’s not forget how he threatened Lila and let her be his modeling partner just so he could get her to stop lying about Marinette.
Adrien is so in love with Marinette, enough to stand up for her and unleash some real boiling anger on anyone who tries to mess with her. He simply won’t tolerate it. It’s so character breaking for Adrien to be harsh, but he’s willing to be that way so long as he’s defending Marinette.
I also gotta admit, I love that Adrien keeps going against his father’s wishes to end his relationship with Marinette, and keeps having dates with her and keeps trying to convince Gabriel that she’s great.
Gabriel can stop Adrien from kissing her, but Adrien is never going to give up on Marinette and I love that. Adrien is slowly getting better at standing up to his father, which is some great character development, because it is never easy to stand up to someone who abuses you.
The only scary thing is that we’ve seen how much harm Adrien is capable of causing when he’s angry. He loses his temper the slightest bit when he’s Cat Noir, he has no issue cataclysming the villain. It’s rather terrifying to think of what could happen if someone pushes Adrien over the edge.
Anonymous asked: Wait, I signed up for a trans kid when I decided to become pregnant? Are you joking or are you really that crazy?
Hey there,
I’m not joking at all and I don’t really see how this would be a laughing matter to you.
Yes, you signed up for a trans kid. And while we are at it, you also signed up for a disabled kid. Autistic kid. Gay kid. A kid who doesn’’t look like you. A deaf kid. A kid who will have interests that don’t match up with yours at all. You signed up for a shy kid and a loud kid and a kid who wets the bed and a sick kid.
That’s the beauty, the miracle of parenthood, don’t you agree? You decide to care for a little person you don’t even know yet. You decide to open your heart and home to them, you promise to nurture and love and protect a tiny human being. How can you promise that, if not unconditionally?
You can’t pick and choose your kid. Maybe even more importantly, they can’t choose you. They depend on you to keep that promise - and not only if they live up to whatever expectations you had.
With all my love,
Tumblr Dad
I'm open about it to all my friends. My mom knows only because I saw my little 9 yr old sister watching it one day and expressed my interest in it (I'm sad I'm more invested in the show than she is). My dad does not know only because there has been no reason to tell him. I don't normally tell people I just met or if I do I do so reluctantly because I'm 23 and embarrassed about it haha.
Because I got curious all of a sudden:
Reblog this and put in the tags who/how many people know you watch Miraculous, /who/how many people know you blog about it, and if you generally are open about either of those things or not

I think it would be objectively funny if Nathalie was the first one to find out about Chat Noir. (loosely inspired by buggachat's comic)
