It's kinda shameful to go this route , but being diabetic person .Now over 6 months my unemployment still pending This has been the worst couple of years of my life. My house was destroyed in a storm. And I cannot go a day without insulin. Currently I am unemployed through no fault of my own. I do not have insurance so I will have to use GoodRx. My insulin is called Afrezza. It costs around $300. I’m calling for community aid to help me get insulin because the healthcare system failed me.

They have become unsafe and do not enjoy a decent life after our house was destroyed. We became homeless and displaced from the north to the south. My family, my elderly mother and I do not have anything to support my children, such as clothes, food and clean water. We took refuge in refugee camps. We suffered and were displaced from place to place. Because of the high prices, we cannot provide water and food for our children. We tried to escape death outside the Strip, but we could not because of the high cost of travel, which costs from 7 to 9 thousand dollars per person. We are a family of 6 people. Hello, I am Mariam Hammed and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart on behalf of my family of six who are trapped in the devastating situation in Gaza. They are urgently seeking evacuation to Egypt after enduring more than 300 days of displacement and hardship.

I am seeking to help them urgently and provide them with the minimum requirements. I was displaced and managed to escape the horrors of war to Rafah and then we returned again to Khan Younis and were displaced more than 11 times inside Khan Younis until we reached the beach, and during our displacement I was injured in the palm of my hand and underwent surgery and had platinum inserted in it and is in dire need of another operation.

Today I find myself in a situation I never expected. The conflict in Gaza has left my family in dire need of assistance.

This war has taken our livelihoods and our factories and now we are struggling to survive. I had a carpentry shop for making furniture, which was my source of income to support my family and was a source of security for my life, but now it has been destroyed and all the hard work of the years was lost in a short moment.

I had a home to shelter my family and children, and the occupation also destroyed our only shelter, and the streets became a bed for my children.

Each of my children had a dream to fulfill. My eldest daughter Dima dreamed of becoming a doctor to treat children, but now I don't know if I will be able to fulfill her dream. My second son Aboud dreamed of becoming an architect to build the country and what the wars destroyed. The third dreams of becoming a mechanical engineer, and the fourth dreams of becoming a painter to color our lives with the most beautiful drawings. These were all our dreams before the war, but the war destroyed everything.

I feel ashamed to ask you to help me save my family's lives. If someone donates $5, it will make a difference for us and help us because we need more. I don't want to lose my family, you are my only hope, you are our hope always and forever. Your support means everything to me, and I am so grateful for any help you can offer during this difficult time.

One harsh morning, everything changed. Our home was destroyed in an instant due to intense bombing, reduced to nothing but a pile of rubble. 💔 We lost our memories, our safety, and everything we had built over the years. That place, which was a shelter for our dreams and cherished moments, became nothing more than a painful memory. 🏠➡️🪨 The most devastating part was that my father didn’t survive; he passed away, leaving a huge void in our lives. 😢 The feeling of helplessness and shock was unbearable, especially as I suddenly found myself searching for a refuge for my family amidst this destruction. 🌪️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Life here feels like a constant struggle; we suffer from severe shortages of food and water, often going to bed hungry or sharing small bites among us. 🍞💧 Medicines are almost nonexistent, leaving us in constant fear for my children’s health, especially with the spread of diseases in this overcrowded space. 😷 The lack of privacy and the biting cold rob us of sleep. 🥶 Every day is a battle for survival, and I try to endure it all with patience, just to give my family a glimmer of hope amidst this never-ending suffering. 🌟
