(Damn, just hating Benekind Cucumberbadatch like thatš/gen (based on their tags)) But here are some others I know about: Sherlock Holmes (the 2 movies with RDJ from 2009 or so), Enola Holmes (1&2 so far), Elementary, Granada Holmes (actually just called The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes [from 1984] if I remember correctly), Young Sherlock Holmes is also a movie (from 1985), Moriarty the Patriot would be an anime with more of a focus on Moriarty (from what I've seen, at least, I'm not through yet), Sherlock Hound (it might also actually be called something like the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, but it's an anime that's described by most as "Studio Ghibli-ish"), Sherlock & Co. (If you wouldn't mind trying an audiobook/podcast, it's really good)
Yeah those are the TV ones I'm aware of so far, personally wouldn't necessarily recommend all of them, but NONE of them are unlikable or anything at all, it just depends on what kind of media you prefer :]
If you're also looking for games somewhen I can recommend the Frogwares ones! Especially Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One; but some others that they made are: Devil's Daughter, Crimes and Punishments, The Awakened and some more
(Also one more book series I've been reading is Young Sherlock Holmes [it's different from the movie])
[I'll also correct this post if I notice any errors]
I'm slowly reading the sherlock holmes books and I'm really enjoying them. I would like to watch some adaptations, but I don't really know many. so, mighty tumblr sherlock holmes fandom, what do yall reccomend
Do you guys ever just remember that Watson had to fight in the First World War?
Well well well, if that isnāt two people who each know a different version of Kirk from separate timelines finally looking at the Kirk who actually belongs into their own timeline
And if that isnāt the guy who has impacted both of them already before ever having met them
(btw I am aware that these arenāt the scenes where they each meet their timelineās Kirk for the first time, but I really liked how you could see the three of them in one scene here)
finished the game for the first time on Sunday and havenāt been able to stop thinking about it ever since š The way Markus was introduced with his cosy first chapter, especially in contrast to Karaās introduction, instantly had me sold on him, heās certainly one of my favoritesš¦«
also got a version without the statue from the pacifist route (which I loved to have as an option)š«” love this guy
Iām still confused about where these rendering skills randomly showed up from specifically for this drawing lolš
As much as I've got to admit that I'm lowkey very fond of this detail, it still doesn't make any sense to me. I've looked it up and V.R. is apparently supposed to stand for Victoria Regina, the queen during Sherlock Holmes' time
But Sherlock isn't interested in politics at all. Why would he be patriotic enough to shoot the queen's initials into his walls?? Maybe it's just something random cause he didn't have anything better to use instead, but I doubt that the queen would be of enough significance for him to even use it randomlyš§ I mean why would Sherlock feel the need to pay homage to her?
does anyone know any Detroit Become Human fanfictions where all the different endings of the characters meet eachother?
Cause I need to read that sort of thing
another one from Instagram :]
Iāve really gotta continue this series manš
also ik this is just the sketch but his actual blanket being the colors of the Union flag is pretty funny to me
In the game Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One by Frogwares, we can discover that Sherlock and Jon had put together a play for Hamlet with some other kids behind the Legacy Theatre when they were kids on Cordona (the island that the game is set on, they lived there with Sherlock's mom, her doctor and Mycroft when Sherlock was 10 until his mother died, which is basically the time and the place we're exploring and discovering new truths about during the story-relevant quests) He did this because he wanted to do a play but the man who owned the theatre didn't like children if I remember correctly, their Hamlet was so good that people had started gathering around them and the director came outside once the play was over to congratulate them on the good play and welcomed them into the theatre
Now this isn't necessarily some universal canon Sherlock or something, but I love this game and thought this was worth sharing :]
If Mycroft participated in theatre, it stands to reason Sherlock did too.Ā At least he took classes.Ā No one fakes all those personalities and cries on cue the way he does without training.
Now Iām envisioning them doing stuff like improv exercises where they have to pretend to be a bear stuck in a traffic jam or something.
So I made some Andorian OCs from the time before the Aenar evolved into who they are today, I mean come on! What was the origin behind a pacifist society forming from a militaristic society, but in a way where it came to the point of them becoming a myth, living so far offsite?? Who were those Andorians that left to build their own society instead of triggering a revolution? How was the basis for the Aenar layed out? Those are the kind of thoughts that have been feeding this particular OC (bottom left of the sketches and the one I practiced animating expressions with :]) and I figured I could use my interest in them to practice some shape-focused character design with Andorians :) I actually canāt answer any of those questions accurately of course lol but I think itās fun to fantasize about them anyway (finally got some more stuff done for my portfolio through that) The Andorian on the bottom right (and well upper right too lol) has been growing on me too tbh I might look for ways to include him in my speculation/thoughts about Aenar history šš¦«
ROTTMNT animation from maybe half a year ago cause I still like how it turned out :]
So far probably @terranceholdsapencil :]
(I wasn't sure which account of yours to tag so let me know if the other one is the one you'd prefer to be tagged lolš)
His art has got this special something about it, it just looks so cool! I love the way he uses colors and anything he draws looks indescribable, but I'm gonna try anyway, it's sort of soft but not fully, a bit plastic but in the best way possible (I can't find a better word rn), sorta sketched but well defined, the lighting always looks incredible, I just really love seeing his stuff
self promo is welcome, being your own favorite artist is allowed and encouraged
