Star Trek SNW 2nd season !spoilers!

Well well well, if that isn’t two people who each know a different version of Kirk from separate timelines finally looking at the Kirk who actually belongs into their own timeline

And if that isn’t the guy who has impacted both of them already before ever having met them

(btw I am aware that these aren’t the scenes where they each meet their timeline’s Kirk for the first time, but I really liked how you could see the three of them in one scene here)

I just learned that people use the word doylist to describe an out-of-universe perspective for fiction and watsonian for an in-universe perspective and this is my favorite thing I’ve learned today, how great is that, I may just start using this as a fun-fact from now on, apologies to anyone who is going to have a conversation with me within the next few days because I WILL mention it🧍

I just watched A Piece of the Action and Kirk was playing his role and getting into the slang wayyyy too enthusiastically🦫/pos

I also love Scotty getting in on it a bit and Kirk keeping to send hints to Spock and set him up for slang replies and Spock just not catching on correctly except for once

They were having way too much fun with this mission, it was such a fun watch

I’ve finally found the magical formula to actually find the Star Trek animations on YT that I wanted, because apparently “fan animation Star Trek” wasn’t cutting it and I could have spent years searching for proper animatics there when all I needed to add to the equation was the little word “music”, because for some reason the algorithm was like “nope, that’s not a fan animation, it’s a music fan animation, of course you’re gonna get completely different Star Trek videos after the few other animations we can offer instead of something with a very similar name to what you’ve been searching for” lol I’m glad I’ve got that sorted out now/lh
