Who is logic Al and why does Spock keep mentioning him?

I just find it funny how Stamford seemingly did NOT mention to John that Sherlock would know everything about him the moment he’d walk in there. He did not know that he was instantly gonna be able to tell him everything about himself as if he had just finished copy and pasting a Wikipedia article about Watson directly into his verbal drive

Instead of warning him Stamford was just like “Can’t wait to see your reaction, it’s better when you experience it first-hand without spoilers lmao” and decided to let John walk into that room completely unprepared for what he was in for lol

John thought this was gonna be a relatively normal conversation

In 2020 my husband and I got really into the 1984 Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett. In The Musgrave Ritual, the fourth episode of the second season, Holmes spends a lot of time swanning around being cranky wrapped in a crochet blanket. I had: lots of online classes and zoom calls, lots of pent up anxiety and energy, a wrist injury that flared up during everything except crocheting for some reason, and a Holmes-loving husband who was just as obsessed with this iconic blanket as I was. So I made this!

If you'd like to make one too, read on. I wrote the pattern two different ways; both are in the reblogs. There's a quick and dirty version where I assume you know the basics of crochet and throw some details at you and it's pattern chaos. And there's a nice, neat, detailed pattern with more specific instructions. Caveat for both: I'm a long-time "figure-it-outer" when it comes to fiber craft and I've made up tons of projects but I am new to writing a pattern for someone else to interpret. Replaying the Hostage and when you manage to save the kid and Daniel is killed and the camera pans to the kid sobbing on the floor and music is all intense and Connor just looks and walks around all cool like mission accomplished - it's such a great badass moment.

But when you don't save her and he walks the same way it's like -

I used to design a bunch of things in this game, I had almost forgotten about that until I picked it up again for the first time in a while, realized I couldn't put together that cool of an outfit and then remembered I could just design things like this :D

Long story short: I've got a science officer uniform now and my island has gained a Spock photo cardboard thingy lmao

incoming !DBH SPOILERS! TW: concentration camp

I mostly want to mention that 1. I’m glad I managed to play Markus in a consequently pacifist way, love that guy 2. I’m glad I managed to have Connor become deviant while having a stable friendship with Hank and 3. Kara wasn’t as lucky in my playthrough. She ended up in a camp with Alice, while Luther had died at Rose’s house. The camps and their obvious references to world war 2 were devastating to see them go through, as someone who has learned about these events multiple times throughout my school life and who has visited two of the camps that still stand as memorials, reminders and informative sites due to the fact that I’m German, seeing Kara and Alice be stripped of their identity and forced to look less/not human to be degraded and most likely easier to kill, seeing the lifeless bodies being loaded onto trucks, seeing the two of them stand in these lines without any clothes despite Alice already freezing during winter, Kara trying desperately to get back to Alice while having to obey the guards enough to not get killed on-sight before they’d both be forced to walk into the machine and end up dead anyway together. It was a cruel thing to watch and a tragic way to end their story. I’m very happy with my first endings though, because this may be one of the most intriguing ways this game could end for me, I’m definitely gonna replay some of it to see some alternative endings though, for example RK-900 didn’t appear at all in my game, didn’t even know that was possible and Kara, Alice and Luther deserve their happy ending in Canada being a family of three, I really hope that’ll be possible on my next attempt

I just finished Detroit Become Human for the first time and I’m in desperate need to talk about it

I just started watching The Next Generation and it instantly starts off with an evaluation of whether humans are still cruel and whether the people in the present can account for what humans have done in the past, oh I'm loving this🦫
