The reason why false rape accusations are so disgusting is because there cannot be a policy of skepticism when regarding rape.

ykw, I should be sleeping but instead I'm gonna say that I have SEVERAL g/t themed stories I would like to write and post here but unfortunately I have as much drawing skill as a grain of dust. So I'll just vomit some of my ideas here :) lmk what you think please, ask me whatever questions u want abt it, and if you feel inspired to create something from this, awesome! I like seeing the things I create inspire people

Also I want to add that I am exceedingly lazy, so many of the titles are just the two main characters with a conjunction between them.

Anyway:

1. Lyra and Tristan

A story I've been working on for quite some time, this one takes place in a dark fantasy world loosely inspired by dark souls and the old fairytales of hans christian anderson and the brothers grimm! In it, the world is dying, and giants and humans threaten to wipe each other out in the wake of a massive war. Our main protagonists are a giantess and a human boy who try to overcome their differences and out an end to the violence. There's a lot of fluff and goofy adolescent awkwardness with this one, and some kinky stuff too for the freaks in this community (me. I'm the freak). In this story I want to cover themes of overcoming hatred, the power of love and the importance of foolish hope. Also beeg lady kisses and cuddles are an important theme but anyway

2. Juliette and Willow

In a world where a third of the population was dramatically reduced in size by a mysterious virus, shrunken people are treated as pets and slaves at best and food at worst. This is a world I really want to cover in a lot of different ways, with a lot of darker tropes like vore, slavery, and other stuff, but Juliette and Willow is a sweet story about sweet things! Juliettes a simple office worker with a history she's trying to forget, and Willow's a ragged tiny who's on his last legs when Juliette finds him on the street one fateful day.A lot of mother-son fluff in this one, with some light sprinkling of overcoming trauma and found family.

3. My Little Knight - A Series

A series of blurbs and short stories where the main scenario is different people with tiny knights! I love knights, like a lot, and I love g/t stuff almost as much, so this is more just a chance to throw these two loves together! We've got princesses giggling and fighting over flustered tiny guards, we've got dragons kidnapping new iron-clad pets, and other stuff I'm too sleep deprived to talk about lol. Easily a more comedic series I want to do, more about silly fluff and goofy scenarios and beeg ladies than anything else.

That's just some of the stuff I wanna do for the community on this site. If u like what u read, or if u don't, please let me know! And if u want me to go to sleep so I can get to work on some of this stuff asap, please let me know! Consider this my official entrance into the g/t community. Ish. Maybe later I'll introduce myself or something, idk.

This is actually such a raw concept omg

I’m absolutely obsessed with the concept of Eldritch Horror!Wibberlys. Basically the Wibberly siblings remaining changed permanently and physically because of the Books of Beginning, even after the series ends, making them not quite human anymore. For instance;

Emma - She runs cold. Even on the hottest summer day, her skin is cool to the touch. - Ravens and crows can be spotted nearby in the trees wherever she goes. - She hears the voices of the dead in every wind that manages to ring in her ears, or when she's really dizzy. - The scar on her hand, where the knife went clean through it, aches whenever something dire happens. - She still sees shadows, omens, not all the time, but sometimes. Usually around reckless drivers or people in hospitals. - She can see very well in the dark. - She's drawn to rain and mist, and will linger in it for a long time. She never seems to grow cold or clammy. - Every once in a while, for a few hours, food tastes dull and chalky to her, like what she encountered in the land of the dead. - In certain lights, her freckles look silver, the same shade as the metal bits on the Reckoning's cover. - Whenever she watches a movie or TV show, or reads a book, she can always guess what characters are going to die, and she's right every time. - Her voice is more decisive and commanding now. She comes across less as a brash girl or petulant child, and more as an authority figure, as the judge of the dead that she is.

Michael - He runs hot. His skin is warm to the touch, no matter how cold the air around him is. - Whenever someone around him cries, he finds himself crying too, as if he is sharing their pain, or relief, or joy, or laughter, whatever emotion it is. - He almost never becomes sick, and he's far less prone to injury than he was before, though he still remains clumsy. - He is incredibly adept at reading the emotions flickering across people's faces. - Sometimes, if the light hits his face right, his skin seems to glow. In the same vein, his eyes look almost red when he's around flames. - Plants and animals are drawn to him and respond well to his care. - His fingertips are calloused, as though they've been pricked over and over with a stylus, and it allows him to touch hot objects without burning. - On occasion, usually once every few months, he falls asleep and dreams that he's a different, random being, living their whole life. - His memory for names and faces is impeccable. - He becomes overstimulated at events such as concerts, where many people are gathered in close quarters. He can feel all their heightened emotions acutely, and it makes him feel as though he's feverish. - His blood looks darker, more like ink than anything.

Kate - Her sense of time is incredibly accurate, and she's very aware of the minutes passing by and dragging on, etc. - There are days she cannot stand the sound of clocks ticking. No matter how quiet they are, she's acutely aware of their sound. - She has a knack for directions, and she rarely ever gets lost. - In certain lights, her eyes flash gold and green, rather than their natural hazel, and her hair seems to shine. - She can see not only the way places are now, but the way they were in the past, and, on occasion, the way they will become in the future. - When things are quiet and still and she is alone, she becomes paranoid that time has stopped and that she's the only one still capable of moving and acting. Whenever it happens, she has to seek out proof that time still moves. - Similarly, when she tells people to stop, they do so immediately, as if they cannot refuse. - The scar on her side, from where she was shot, never fades, and indeed, often appears to look distinctly like a thread. - Her hands are steady, her body rarely shakes anymore. - Sometimes, her dreams are still of things that happened centuries or millennia ago, or of things that have yet to occur at all. - Deja Vu is a regular feeling for her, and her sense of foreknowledge often leaves others feeling eerie. - There are times when she wakes up or gets up and she does not immediately know what time period or place she is in, rather, she feels lost among the timeline, as if in the middle of an immense ocean. - She has a talent for finding what's lost, and she can always, always find Michael and Emma, no matter where they are.

The Soul of Cinder is such a great concept bc it is literally the result of what happens if you refuse to let something die. It's something that needs to die, the whole world practically BEGS for it, but it still fights on bc of all the lords of the past who chose to keep it alive anyway.

Like, imagine a garden that is never trimmed but ever watered. It needs to be pruned, it needs to be restrained, it may even need to die in the winter so the farmer can have another go, but instead the farmer keeps watering it, keeps feeding it, until it grows out of proportion, leaves and vines tangling up fences and spilling out into the yard around it. In accepting the gift of life given to it, it has become deadly to the things around it, as it chokes out the life from other plants and ruins the natural order of things. Yet it can no longer be simply pruned in an afternoon now, no, now it's become a whole landscaping job (and as somebody who worked landscaping for a summer job, it's a nightmare). It took the life you gave, and it'll be damned if it gives that life back without a fight.

And that's exactly what we see with the soul of cinder, something that has to be killed, but it's clinging on to the gift of life with everything it's got. It's the indomitable human spirit in its most pure, terrifying form. Pulling out everything that it's ever been given in an effort to keep holding on to life.

Yet life must give way to death; the rain must drive away the sun, and the grass must wither and fade away.

Once you start using a term to describe how you feel about something instead of what it is, then you've done nothing but make the term useless.

Also PILGRIMS PASS MENTION HECK YEAH

As a person who is conservative politically (I'm assuming) what do you make of all of these GOP people making Nazis salutes? (Musk now Bannon). Are right wing news outlets reporting this??? Sorry if this is out of left field, but you're the only person on Tumblr that I know is not left-wing and I'm curious of your opinion.

I'm fairly conservative, and I do have some options.

I've actually interacted with real NeoNazis.

I need you to comprehend- the guys I dealt with would have killed me if they thought they could have gotten away with it. They were not happy I was there, but I had a gun, spare mag, And a guy with a Roland special who wanted to kill them almost as much as they wanted to kill me.

Unless you have faced that level of genuine malice, it's not something that's easy to wrap your head around. I did not think you could literally feel someone's killing intent until I looked in one of their eyes.

People are far, far, too casual with calling people Nazis. Stop watering it down.

I’ve got a bit more beef with politics (US and international) to get off my chest, and while I hope nobody gets mad at me over this, that isn’t likely.

I don’t think that many people understand that while a huge difference in the changing political spectrum is changing morality, another issue that I think we have is that each side has a different agenda than the other but everyone wants everyone else to have their same agenda.

Some people are LGBTQ+, some are disabled, some are Christian, some are Muslim, some are family-oriented, some are pro-life, some are anti-gun. Most/all of it has to do with our experiences and how we have lived our life.

And the biggest problem isn’t that we have these differences, it is that we cannot work with other people who hold a different view of our agendas than we do. Two people who hold different views on the LGBTQ community cannot work together to help alleviate the suffering of those in poverty. People who hold differing views on how to alleviate suffering cannot work together over national security.

And to the people who say that the other side wants them dead and so they cannot compromise with them on any issue unless they stop wishing you dead, I would like to say that people on the other side probably feel the same thing about the issues they care deeply about. This is what politics has come to now.

This is my beef with politics at the moment. Possible solutions would be relearning how to see humanity in the other side, trying to see things from the other person’s perspective, and learning that you are not always right, but the likely hood of people starting to do that is slim. I am not perfect in this area; no one I know is perfect at doing this. But it would help, I think. I could be wrong. But as I look around, I wonder what this all would look like if we listened to each other’s experiences instead of instantly brushing people off if we disagree with them.

Someone told me to think of it like this: "Everyone has a favorite song, a least favorite food, and something they want in life." Everyone is a story in their own way. We're all so beautiful and unique, yes, but the beauty comes from the things we share in common instead of what divides us. Just bc someone appears boring doesn't mean there's not a song they wouldn't be happy to hear. Just because you disagree with someone's beliefs doesn't mean they're any less human than you are.

I think it's important to remember that just because you find someone basic or boring or whatever, you're actually very wrong and they are a unique and layered person with their own complicated life, emotions and interests. They don't have to perform anything to show you how interesting or special they are.

That straight white girl with her stanly cup and sephora makeup doesn't have to show you what makes her 'unique'. The older gentleman who shares conspiracy theories on facebook and mows his lawn early in the morning doesn't have to prove he isn't an 'npc' to you. The woman with the 'Karen' haircut and her son who watches stupid youtube videos don't have to drop everything to demonstrate to you that they can break the stereotypes you've associated with them.

Every person is a real person. Even if you never see them do a thing other than what you expect them to do, they are just as deep and emotional as you are because they are ALIVE! They're real! And they don't owe you a tour into their lives just to prove to you that they have thoughts and feelings! Just because you lack the empathy or understanding to see that someone who doesn't share your same lifestyle, hobbies or stereotypes might actually have a rich and detailed life, doesn't mean you're right.

Not that anybody asked, but I think it's important to understand how shame and guilt actually work before you try to use it for good.

It's a necessary emotion. There are reasons we have it. It makes everything so. much. worse. when you use it wrong.

Shame and guilt are DE-motivators. They are meant to stop behavior, not promote it. You cannot, ever, in any meaningful way, guilt someone into doing good. You can only shame them into not doing bad.

Let's say you're a parent and your kid is having issues.

Swearing in class? Shame could work. You want them to stop it. Keep it in proportion*, and it might help. *(KEEP IT IN PROPORTION!!!)

Not doing their homework? NO! STOP! NO NOT DO THAT! EVER! EVER! EVER! You want them to start to do their homework. Shaming them will have to opposite effect! You have demotivated them! They will double down on NOT doing it. Not because they are being oppositional, but because that's what shame does!

You can't guilt people into building better habits, being more successful, or getting more involved. That requires encouragement. You need to motivate for that stuff!

If you want it in a simple phrase:

You can shame someone out of being a bad person, but you can't shame them into being a good person.
