Hi there! My period is hitting me like a truck, could I please request fluffy Bucky? Maybe like reader and him go grocery shopping for ice cream or something? I'm in dire need of some fluff. Thank you very much dearie đđ
You were in that painful and awful day of the month, lying on your stomach and hugging one of the pillows, a failed attempt to make yourself feel better but, in fact, while you were like that nothing would get better. You stayed like that until the moon came to the sky, but you didnât care. You just wanted to make the pain go away. You heard your door open and quietly footsteps getting closer to you, the mattress lowered slightly with the weight and then you felt your boyfriend scent. He stroked your hair, taking it out of your face and kissed your head.
âBaby, do you wanna go to the grocery with me? Thereâs a new ice cream flavour.â he murmured quiet, tenderly smiling when you moved a little so you could look at him.
âCan you bring to me? Iâm not feeling well.â you tried not to whine about your period but Bucky was always trying to spoil you. So there you were pouting and making him nod carefully.
âSure thing, doll. Iâll come back in one minute.â Bucky kissed your forehead and then left you alone again.
You didnât know exactly how long you waited, but when you were finally drifting off to sleep you heard Bucky come in. You grumbled sleepily as the light turned on, but soon you rested your hands on the mattress to lift and turn your body, so you could sit and lean back against the headboard. Bucky smiled sweetly, taking the ice cream pots, chocolate and Doritos from the bag and them walking in your direction. He sat in your empty side, placing the food in front of him so he could open one of the ice cream and give to you. Silently, you accepted and took one scoop of the sweet, closing your eyes when you felt the coffee and nut touch your tongue. Bucky placed his arm around your waist, pulling you to lean against him and thus let you more comfortable. You hummed happily after almost all day feeling grumpy, and you knew that you were lucky to have a man to spoil you like that.
âDid you liked the new flavour?â he whispered quietly and you just nodded, too concentred in finishing your ice cream and Bucky chuckled âThereâs another one here, but do you wanna eat Doritos first? And watch some movie?â
âI love you so much⌠You know that, right?â you sighed, hiding for a moment your face in the curve of his neck, your cold breath causing him chills and making him giggled.
âI love you too, baby.â

A/N: Some angsty and kinda sad Bucky for you guys! Yet again inspired by the prompt in the title. Featuring an appearance from best friend!steve.
Youâd seen Bucky lose control before. The Winter Soldier was a rare occurrence now, the trigger words no longer had any hold over Bucky, but sometimes, in his sleep, when his defences were down, something would happen.
Youâd known Buckyâs nightmares were a problem before youâd started dating him. More often than not heâd wake in a sweat, crying about some mission, some innocent heâd hurt. But, occasionally, heâd wake up, his eyes glazed over, Bucky no longer at the forefront and in control.
It had happened a few times. Youâd wake to see him just sitting there, staring coldly at nothing in particular. Youâd move slowly, softly saying his name, reminding him of little moments youâd shared, stories heâd told you of him and Steve, and eventually youâd have your boyfriend back.
Tonight was different.
Youâd woken suddenly to a sharp pain in your ribs. Youâd assumed it was simply Bucky struggling in his sleep but next thing you felt was a weight on top of you. Your eyes snapped open as you felt metal close around your neck. You inhaled sharply while you still could.
âBucky,â you whispered, as calmly as you could. âBuck, itâs me, itâs Y/N. Come back to me.â
When that didnât seem to work, you forcefully pushed your body into him. In his moments confusion, you jammed your arm up towards his throat working a leg free and kicking him in the stomach before jumping out of bed and backing away from him.
âBucky?â you asked hesitantly.
You got no response. The man before you simply stared down at his own hands. You edged closer.
âBucky?â
âNo,â he said flinching away from you.
âItâs ok, Bucky, everythingâs ok.â
âNo itâs not,â his breathing was laboured and he swatted your hand away as you reached out to him. âDonât touch me.â
âBucky-â
âNo. I promised Iâd never hurt you. I said this only worked as long as you were safe, and youâre not.â
âBucky, stop it. Iâm fine,â you tried to assure him. âThis never happens, it was a one off, everything is ok.â
You tried reaching out again, hoping to get him back to bed, but he stood up forcefully.
âI could have killed you,â he murmured, his voice breaking as he fled from your room.
The moment he was gone, you broke down. The sobs shook your body as you curled up in a ball on the floor by your bed. The shock of what happened caught up to you as the aching in your ribs suddenly throbbed. You couldnât get that horrified look on Buckyâs face when he realised what had happened out of you head.
Steve suddenly appeared at your door, probably alerted by the banging of the door, given the force Bucky threw it open with.
âY/N?â he called rushing to your side. âWhat happened? Are you ok?â
You sniffed and looked up at him. You saw his eyes widen as he brought his fingertips up to brush your neck.
âThat wasn'tâŚâ he trailed off, looking at the bruising in horror.
âIt was the nightmares again,â you got out between sobs. âItâs never been that bad. And now I donât know where he is, but he probably wonât come back.â
âWho is he?â
âBucky. Heâs Bucky again. He realised what had happened and ran.â
You broke down again. Steve pulled you into his chest as you tried to calm yourself again.Â
âI donât know what to do,â your voice small behind the sobs.
âYou still love him?â
âOf course. That wasnât him. Bucky would never knowingly hurt me.â
âWhen you love someone, itâs worth fighting for. No matter the odds,â Steve encouraged you.
âHelp me find him, and weâll see if we canât get him help. We stopped the trigger, weâll stop this too.â
You dried your eyes, sniffed a few times and looked up at Steve with new determination. âLetâs find him.â

You were very nervous, as you were about to make a statement for the Avengers in front of the press.
Bucky was standing next to you, keeping you company before you had to walk to the podium.
You tapped your foot on the ground anxiously and Bucky wrapped his real arm around you.
âYouâll do fine, donât worry.â He assured you as he gave you a little squeeze on your shoulder.

Summary: Bucky eats the last cookie you had saved for yourself. This is just fun and silliness.
Word Count: 585
Contains: Fluff. Just fluff.
Pausing your video game, you get on your feet and make your way to the kitchen. You have kept a stash of cookies hidden away behind the refrigerator for the past week, slowly eating them and hoping no one would notice. You smile to yourself as you think of eating the last cookie you had saved for today, only to see Bucky crouching by the fridge, bringing what looks a lot like your cookie up to his mouth.
âWhoa! Whoa, Bucky!â you screech. âWhat are you doing?â
Bucky stops and smiles, straightening himself up. âI found this cookie. Gonna eat it.â
âNo! Donât you dare!â

This way girls and boys can see theyâre not alone. I have them and this would help me see that.
âTony, I really didnât want to do this,â Steve sighed. He looked up at you, and you jumped down from your perch in your own new suit, the force of your landing cracking the ground.
âOh, come on, this was supposed to be my big idea,â Tony sighed.
âSorry to disappoint,â you shrugged. With a surge of power, you launched yourself at Spider-Man- a familiar face to you from YouTube- and used your telekinetic field to throw him across the airport, stealing back Steveâs shield and tossing it to the soldier.
âWow, that was awesome!â Spider-Man said, though he quickly recovered, âI meanâŚnice moves, but I donât think you can keep up!â
âIâve seen you swinging around the city, Bug Boy,â you smirked. âYou may be able to handle street-level stuff, but I donât think youâve ever met anyone like me.â
âYouâre from New York, too?â he asked, swinging out of your reach and trying to shoot you with webbing as you followed with precision and used your field to project the webbing away. âIs that a kinetic energy field?â
âTactile telekinesis,â you grinned, âitâs super-fun. Almost like flying! So, really, whereâd the whole Bug Boy thing come from? Iâm curious.â
âLong story, radioactive spiders, Iâd rather save it for a rainy day,â he said, managing to land a burst of webbing to your hand and sealing you to the ground. âIâm from Queens, what about you?â
âManhattan!â you grinned, kicking him hard as Scott grew to giant size and you pulled your arm free. âWe should hang out sometime!â
This, you could tell as he swung back around to try and hit you again, was going to be the start of a beautiful friendship.

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
Word count: 687 words
Warnings: Absolutely none. This is all fluff and cuteness.Â
Request:Â Bucky sees the reader one day and follows the reader but keeps his distance and is to nervous to approach the reader but you notice and introduce yourself. Anonymous _______________________________________________________________________
You can feel his eyes like daggers in your back, but you donât think he means harm. Heâs been watching you clear tables all afternoon and youâve dropped things several times throughout the day, because his stare makes you nervous. Every time you look his way he quickly looks at something else, but youâre confident that he is indeed looking at you.Â
âHow can I help?â you ask another customer but your mind is somewhere else; what would happen if you introduced yourself? You take down the order while you ponder the question. The worst thing that could happen is that he denies everything and you scare him off.Â
âMary, can I leave a bit earlier today?â you ask your boss wanting to talk to the man before he disappears.
âI donât see why not. You take the finished orders out and youâre free to go,â Mary smiles. You thank her and hurry out with the last dishes before heading out back to change into your regular clothes.Â
âHere goes nothing,â you mumble to yourself before heading outside. But when you get outside you notice that the man is gone. As if he was never there to begin with.Â
âWhat the hell?â you ask yourself looking around. He couldnât have just disappeared. He was there just a minute ago and the streets are too crowded for him to make a quick exit. You sigh as you begin to walk home. Itâs a 30-minute walk and after 15 minutes of walking you feel his glare again. You turn around and notice him behind you. Itâs starting to creep you out because he seems to want something from you. Why else would he be following you? Deciding to catch him in the act you turn around a corner and wait for him to follow. It doesnât take long before youâre suddenly face to face with him.Â
âHi,â you breathe a little nervous. Itâs starting to down upon you what youâre actually doing. He could be a stalker or something worse.Â
âHi,â he says a bit wondrous. Itâs only now you notice that thereâs something different about his arm. Is it silver?Â
âIâm Y/N,â you say wanting to tread carefully.Â
âThatâs a pretty name,â he says and you wait a moment, but he doesnât say more. He doesnât introduce himself and you canât help but wonder who he is.Â
âThank you,â you say blushing a little, âwhatâs your name?âÂ
âBucky. I mean thatâs just my nickname. I-My name is James Buchanan Barnes,â the tall man replies. You canât help but laugh a little.Â
âI like Bucky.â Itâs quiet for a while. âWhy have you been following me?â
âI just thought you were really beautiful. You are really beautiful,â he says stammering a little. You canât help but find it adorable how shy he is. With his enormous arms and his tough exterior youâre surprised to learn that heâs practically a teddy bear at heart.Â
âThanks. You donât look too bad yourself,â you reply feeling your cheeks burning. Both of you stand there in awkward silence waiting for the other to say something.Â
âWell, are you going to ask me out or not?â you ask feeling a little bold. Youâve clearly taken Bucky by surprise with sudden outburst. But he quickly recovers and smiles.Â
âCan I buy you a cup of coffee?â he asks.Â
âI donât drink coffee,â you say deciding to tease him a little. You need to get him back for staring at you all day. He looks like a lost puppy because coffee is apparently the only idea he has.Â
âIâm just joking. Iâd love a cup of coffee,â you say laughing a little. He starts laughing himself as he realises your comment was meant as a tease.Â
âCome on,â you say grabbing his hand and intertwining your fingers with his. Youâre surprised at how bold youâre acting, but Bucky seems to give you confidence. And it doesnât take you long to find a coffeehouse. Once inside and seated you can finally have a proper conversation with the gorgeous man in front of you.Â
âTell me about yourself.â

The view from Stark Tower was truly amazing, especially at night. The stars surrounded the moon, kissing the black velvet backdrop of the night sky. The view had come with your recruitment as an Avenger. You had been with the team for a few months now, but the view never got old.
âCanât sleep?â You turned around, startled. Bucky stood against the door-frame, wearing a thin t-shirt that outlined his muscles. You blushed, but thankfully in the dark you couldnât tell.
âI was just enjoying the view,â you said, turning back around. âItâs amazing up here.â Bucky chuckled and came to stand by you.
âItâs kind of dark out for a little ray of sunshine like you.â
Ever since you got recruited, the team had called you sunshine or a ray of sunshine because you refused to let other people bring you down. It was now a running joke, and it was Buckyâs favorite. You were somewhat close with Bucky. You often stayed up late together, and you even talked with him after one of his recurring nightmares. Every time you were around him, your heart would beat a little faster, which was seriously annoying.
âMaybe the dark needs a little light to balance it out.â You didnât take your eyes off the sky, constellations glittering and winking at you. You could tell Bucky was looking at you, but you pretended not to notice.
âSo if youâre the sun, what does that make me?â He leaned on the railing next to you, following your gaze up. You turn to look at him, and study his side profile. His jawline had more structure than your life, carved by the hands of Michelangelo himself. The gentle slope of his nose, the way his cheekbone smoothed into the curve of his mouth, the sharp edge of his jaw giving way to a small dimple in his chin; it was all so beautiful. Bucky turned to look at you, and you became very aware that you were only a foot apart.
