If Heisenberg has an affinity with the mold like Rose, and his essence can be felt through his crystalised corpse, and the BSAA is corrupt and is using bio-weapons.

He will be brought back to life for new experimentation. Rose is kidnapped but because she's the protagonist now, she/you escape and then she finds Heisenberg to escape.

They form a weird friendship based on mold, violence, parental issues, and being experimented on.

Now, Rose has to kill him because he's a parallel of her and he's already murdered and done atrocious things to humanity. (Plus if you kept him alive everyone is gonna complain that they are under-utilizing him in game).

Heisenberg gets a tiny redemption arc where he gets to choose his family and now he has to be bossed around by the spawn of someone he was gonna kill. And now she's more powerful and was born in military training so his all-bullshit personality clashes with her no-bullshit personality.

And Rose has to kill her only friend that understood being treated like an experiment/ bio-weapon all their lives because she has to prove that she's able to control her mold abilities and young characters have to be jaded early in games to progress them.

TLDR: you still have to kill Heisenberg for plot reasons but you'll form a friendship for life.

I can’t decide what broke me more, Crowley’s constant acts of service, always showing up to save Aziraphel or make him happier… or Az’s extremely in love expressions.
