First flower ever grown in space bloomed today!
why didn’t gandalf just carry the ring to mordor himself with these tongs
The chapter where Spider is told to hide the identity of his true father had me thinking…what if he ran away after he revealed himself to Neytiri and Jake? He thinks that it truly is his fault their firstborn son died and that him staying here will only bring more chaos. He flees and lives a life of isolation to atone for his “tainted” blood. No one ever sees him again, but Spider does became a cryptid of sorts where Na’vi from all over Pandora whisper about a human who travels the road and helps displaced Na’vi find a new safe place before vanishing into the night.
Like some Robin Hood sorta vibes? I love it!!
There's loads of potential with it too, because Spider could actually go back to the villages that Quaritch attacked to try and fix what was destroyed...
Anon you might've just filled one of the prompts I was unsure about thank you!!
Jake and Neytiri need to supervise water play... otherwise Tuktirey swims off to who knows where!
seeing people be shocked that norm has children and him not raising spider was not out of inability but rather a choice reminds me that a lot of people i think misunderstood a big part about spider. it’s not just the sullies, every adult in his life has failed him. you can’t only blame the sullies for not understanding him because every other character is just as guilty of it
Cat
it may take me a month to put out a chapter but at least im not using ai to write it.

Imagine Spider finding out humans DO have stripes. They're just invisible to the naked eye, cats can see them, but as the movie shows humans and Na'vi can't. Imagine him discovering that and thinking about how much similar he is to his brothers and sisters, to the whole tribe. But when they look at him they only see his face. Not Spider. And sure as hell not his stripes.
I need Spider to make friends outside of the Sullys. It feels like we only ever see one side of him because he's always around Neytiri's children and can never truly be himself without raising suspicions or anger. Making new friends beyond the Sully inner circle would give him the freedom to be unapologetically himself, and Kiri would start to notice just how bright and mischievous he really is. Spider is still a teenager, and I want him to act more like one: childish, bratty, sullen, and explorative, the way all teenagers are supposed to be.
