I've said it before and I'll say it again but there's practically no reason to delineate between "binary" trans people and nonbinary trans people

I know everyone loves the Corinthian because he’s creepy/sucks/fucks etc but I’m into this character because he’s a poster boy for conditional acceptance.
He’s created to fulfill one purpose. If he doesn’t contort himself into the correct behaviour, he’s scrapped to be remade and remade until he acts as intended.
Morpheus doesn’t seem to have a personal relationship with him like he does with other Dreaming characters. When he kills the Corinthian, Morpheus’ “I made you poorly” speech dismisses that the nightmare is an individual in control of his actions.
Lucienne visibly dislikes him but is quick to forgive Fiddler who also defected. It’s like the Corinthian is treated more like a project or a weapon than an entity of the Dreaming.
I don’t think his ability to attract people affords him any lasting power either. People crave him, his body or his success but it’s a self-interested infatuation. People don’t love him for his personality because he doesn’t have one; it’s polite and forgettable and adapted to attract whoever he’s targeting. He fills the spaces in between people’s real relationships and while maybe it’s fun, ultimately he’s forgotten.
And can we talk about the second Corinthian being obsessed with learning about his previous iterations? That’s fucked up and dystopian.
He’s a really tragic character. Also a horrible violent maniac.
hey (with the intention of smiling in between kisses with you)
i think queer people should be more confusing actually. i think we should make everyone as confused as possible until they give up and realize that total understanding of other people isnt the gateway to respect and compassion
Artists who’ve gotten used to twitter are afraid tumblr won’t be as useful to them if they jump ship, but here’s the thing: twitter is only built for instant short-term gratification, and it severely limits what you can share anyway. You can only post one short paragraph and up to four images that get compressed to death, then at best get a burst of viral attention that lasts a day or two before their algorithm buries it forever and it’s forgotten immediately. On tumblr you can post a whole original article, story or multi-page comic. If you want it to get attention you just tag it every relevant thing you can think of and it stays pretty visible in those tags forever and ever. People interested in said tags follow them or routinely search them, scroll through and will see what you made even years later. Without an algorithm automatically flooding your dash with nonsense and without a “trending news” feature, it’s also practically effortless here on tumblr to avoid things you don’t want to see. If you don’t like a political topic, you just don’t search for it or follow people who post about it and you’re already significantly less likely to see it, just like that. If you really miss algorithmic content, tumblr mobile now has the “for you” section and has always had “based on your likes” options. This is absolutely the most comfortable and useful website for creators to network on as long as you understand its advantages!
