oec : part 2 ; the meaning

in honor of oecs comeback, i decided to make this!

what is the " loonaverse " ?

the loonaverse is a fictional universe, where the members of loona live. it is estimated to date all the way back to april 26th, 2017.

heejin is generally known as the loonaverses creator. initially, the world was in black and white. when heejin sees this, she takes action, realizing she cant do this alone, she needs help filling the world with color. does this mean heejin is the "god" / "goddess" of the loonaverse? many orbits think so.

the loonaverse is believed to be highly biblical. blockberry creative confirmed that the story of yyxy (youth youth by young), is meant to explain the biblical story of adam and eve! including imagery of apples, and even going as far as to call this area of the loonaverse as "eden"

it is highly believed that the loonaverse is a universe that exists on a möbius strip, aka, an endless loop. a very popular reason to back up this theory is in the name of loona. LOOΠΔ is the official spelling of the group, and ΠΔ are greek letters. if you translate this, it would equate to LOOPD. coincidence? many orbits think not!

oec = odd eye circle

the members consist of jinsoul, choerry, and kim lip! they are the only subunit to have 3 members.

so, whats the meaning?

the three letters in “ODD” represent three overlapping moons. moon imagery is the most common in oec, out of all loona music videos.

the reason gyaru isnt getting popular again

here is my take on this. the reason why gyaru isn't going to get popular again is because you guys won't let new substyles get created.

you see a gyaru in a substyle you've never seen before and automatically say they aren't gyaru. all gyaru substyles have been created at one point it's not like they just appeared out of nowhere so why act like new substyles can't be created?

the whole point of gyaru is to go against the beauty standard and be sexy (obvi sexy is different for everyone) as long as they fit in with the gyaru lifestyle and do the makeup with the main points of gyaru make now then I don't think we should be calling people not gyaru. one exception is "clean gyaru" cause that basically takes away the whole point of gyaru
