Neglected from a young age? Spiralling into depression at what we can presume is anywhere from 8-12. Moving around from place to place, as his parents drag him around like some sort of pet, preventing him from having any real connection with people. He's social. He wants friends. Real, permeable, reliable friends. Not some flimsy connection, not proximity friends. He got what he wanted eventually.Though, like all things, it came at a price. Do you think he'd rather be without the phantom dimension, but lose his friends? You're CRAZY. He loves them like he breathes, easily and like a lifeline.
