Reason why some booktok people hate Violet is because they want her man so badly.

There are so many reasons to criticise Violet and they try to distort her character just to make their hate seem more valid.

I just scrolled past a video in which a person said Violet never sacrificed herself like Xaden did.

Risked her life bringing the daggers to Xaden every time she went to Samara. Something that could not only get her and the apostasy children killed but HER SISTER TOO! THEY'D KILL MIRA FOR SURE IF THEY FOUND OUT.

She risked her and her loved ones lives to retrieve a book to help Aretia raise wards.

She was tortured for 5 days because of said book stealing.

Overlooked her injuries, trauma and chronic condition to translate said book as fast as she could. This girl just went through 5 days of torture and just brushed it off for the sake of saving Xaden's home.

Almost turned venin with how desperate she was to imbue Basgiath ward stone. Almost made a decision that could fuck everything up with her dragons and family and loved ones.
