So like, you know how in the Percy Jackson books, Athena creates her demigod children by thinking them into existence, mimicking how she herself was born from the skull of Zeus?

You think Aphrodite ever makes kids like how she was born? Chopping off some guy's nards, yeeting them into the sea, & pulling some progeny out of the sea foam?

The education system failed them, but physics sure won't.

I think about Sekhet a lot. The ancient Egyptian thrid gender from the middle kingdom we don't know much about. There's record of it, on pottery shards listing three genders. Male (tai), female (hmt) and Sekhet. What exactly was it? A word for transgender? A word for intersex? A word for non binary? I wish we knew. And I wish we had a pride flag for it and was still used today. Ancient genders are so interesting. Who knows, maybe I would have been called Sekhet back then.
