I think about Sekhet a lot. The ancient Egyptian thrid gender from the middle kingdom we don't know much about. There's record of it, on pottery shards listing three genders. Male (tai), female (hmt) and Sekhet. What exactly was it? A word for transgender? A word for intersex? A word for non binary? I wish we knew.
