Let's spend this perfect Date by giving some under-appreciated fanworks some love and attention. And of course by submitting some of them to Comment Exchange. Today you can do that without having to proof you commented on something else. But of course I encourage you to do so anyways. Check out our masterlist for some inspiration.
Thanks for tag!

Nebula - cause they can glow green.
Or Wreath after the wreath nebula (or I guess Bernard would work as well in that case - I like wreath better, but Bernard would be a fun non-ghost name for it if could change like danny)
I missed Danny Cowboy, so I brought him back. He's pretty creepy. Why a skeleton horse? Because, why not?
I don't even know exactly how long this takes, but I'm actually pretty proud of the painting
Sam is characterized as a very strong environmentalist. And as a part of this, they have her follow a ridiculous made up dietary restriction: “ultra-recyclo-vegetarianism”
Which sounds like it’s meant to be all extreme, right? Something ridiculously strict.
Except that it just… isn’t??
For the most part it’s basically just the same as vegetarianism, and in the edge cases, it’s actually less restrictive than being vegetarian.
Because the rule is “don’t eat anything with a face” and for the most part, only animals are gonna have faces. I guess you could make the argument that like something like a venus fly trap has a face, but I don’t think any commonly eaten plants would count as having one unless you really stretch the definition. And unless animal products like milk are grouped in with the animal they’re from, they’re all gonna be permitted too because none of them have faces. So it’s unlikely to meaningfully ban anything that wasn’t already covered by vegetarianism.
But then on the animal side of things, it leaves some allowances that baseline vegetarianism doesn’t. Sure, most animals have faces, but not all, and some of the faceless ones are occasionally eaten (e.g. jellyfish). Heck, depending on how it defines what counts as a face, some decently common food animals like oysters could be permitted.
…though of course this assumes there aren’t other rules beyond that part (e.g. if there’s something about using “scrap” bits to justify including “recycle” in the name)
Today's cross-platform PSA:
Writers, even if you don't want to give blanket permission to podfic (that is, a yes to everyone without needing to be asked in advance), having a statement telling us how you feel about podfic in your ao3 profile helps everyone!
You won't ever give permission to podficcers? Say that and no one'll bug you with DMs!
Want to discuss people's plans first? Say that and people will feel more comfortable messaging, knowing a message is welcome!
Obviously blanket permission is awesome, but even without it, clarity is super helpful for everyone involved.
You can learn more and get advice on how to tailor a statement to what you want it to say here!
Trick or treat?

i imagine danny floats when he sleeps. it was especially bad in the first few months after the accident, but he still floats a little even years later.
Mammals both produce milk and have hair. Ergo, a coconut is a mammal.
