The end of our donation period is here, but we're glad to inform you that, together, we have raised a total of $478.28 for our fundraising projects for Gaza!

Your support means the world to us, and your contributions will directly assist those who need it most, remember that every step will help build the road towards the liberation of Palestine.

This is just the beginning! We now want to announce that we’re planning a second round of fundraising later this year, giving you another chance to participate as a volunteer or donor 🤍

To our volunteers: if you haven’t received your prompt yet, don’t worry, we’re still sending out a few more. Sadly, there is a chance you might not receive one since we didn’t reach our donation goal this round and couldn’t provide prompts for everyone. Even then, your dedication is greatly appreciated. But don't fret! If you're still interested in helping, follow our updates on this account so that when our next run comes, you will be prioritized on our list!

Another artwork, I made for @arcanefans4gaza. This time, the donor was @iinkymushroom and and I got the prompt: Viktor, leaning against his cane, in comfortable clothes (he's tired and having a bad leg day) Now, what would speak more of a bad leg day than Viktor staying at his flat (with the widest window-front and a balcony imaginable, I just want him to have all the luxuries, he probably never had during his time in Zaun). Also, I imagine that Jayce checked up on him and brought him something from a bodega nearby. I also made some progress pictures, for anyone who is interested in this kind of stuff.

This was basically my model for Viktor. Heads up for the incredible cosplay of Cholo Miguel Tolentino (cholo_tolentino on instagram) So, I made some sketches. First the most basic of all in my sketchbook, just to get a feel for putting the cane on the correct side, where to place him, mirroring the whole thing (argh).

Then, I had to figure out what to do with his hands. Hands, the bane of my existence (feet as well, but eh, I digress). I mean, it looked pretty cool in the model, but that was also the problem: A Viktor in pain has to lean on everything nearby, less focusing on looking cool in the progress.

I think, that is where I moved my atelier outside (sunny weather, yei!)n and instead of listening to my lectures at University, I drew.

I made a mistake at first, and drew his uniform. Then I remembered to look at the prompt. Comfy clothes. Now, what is more comfortable than an oversized hoodie?

And there we have the pencil outlines, with an added background of Viktor's appartment. The brace gave me a bit of an headache, especially finding a good reference where it is completely visible.

THE CONCEPT:

For donations of $5 USD to any of the fundraisers listed, you will be able to receive a fanwork (either fanfic/fanart) from one of the amazing volunteers!

Do note that while we are accepting dead dove prompts, this is a SFW event, and NSFW prompts will not be accepted!

Posting fanwork, prompt submissions, and donations, can be done anonymously, but an email must be provided.

If you are a fan of the Thor movies, Thor, Loki, or Hela, please help us raise donations for Palestine by signing up to create, donate, or by reblogging to spread the word!!

HOW IT WORKS (donors):

$5 USD donation = 1 SFW fanwork

You can donate multiple times, but the amount donated has to cover the amount of fanworks that you are requesting. (e.g. $20 USD donation = 4 SFW fanworks)

You can donate to any place listed on our carrd and will be asked to provide a screenshot of your receipt as proof of donation!

HOW IT WORKS (writers/artists):

Minimum requirements for fanwork are as follows (creators are free to go beyond this):

Artists: at least a cleaned up sketch Writers: at least a 1000 word fanfic

You will be given at least 1 month to finish filling your prompt(s) after assignment. You may contact the mods if you need more time.

There will be a space to specify what you do and do not want to create for. Creators can choose not to take dead dove prompts!
