ORV taught us about the power of stories to save a life.

What if you, too, could use the power of stories to save lives - by drawing/writing to raise funds for Gaza?

Inspired by the success of previous fandom Gotcha for Gaza charity events, we want to hold an ORV charity event to raise funds for Palestine. We need your help to fill in our interest check to see if there's enough interest for this event, which will also help us better plan it.

HOW IT WORKS:

Fanartists/fic writers sign up to fill prompts that donors will submit. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level!

Fans who donate at least US$5 (or equivalent in other currencies) to a verified Palestinian fundraiser can claim a free ORV fanart/fic of any prompt they want.

Fanartists/fic writers will be matched with prompts and have at least 1 month to finish their works.

EXPECTED TIMELINE:

Interest Check: now - 1 July 

Creator Signups: 1 - 14 July 

Donation Period: 15 - 28 July 

Posting Deadline: 28 Aug

From May 13th-19th, we're opening the sign-up forms for creators (artists and writers).

From May 19th-25th, we're opening the form for donations and e-mailing the prompts for the creators to work on.

And June 8th will be our final deadline for the published works.

We now have a total of 93 volunteers ready to write or draw your prompts! Together we will help Palestine through this show that connects us all once more, so thank you all so much for joining our event! A Discord invite was sent to all of our creators, you must've received your own already!

Hi, I signed up as an author yesterday but I haven't received an email yet?

Hello! The e-mails will be sent from May 19th to May 25th, since that is also the period where donations will be open and people will send their prompts for you to work on. So, for now, we are only receiving sign-ups for creators!
