I find that some people who are in a majority demographic don't like having labels on themselves. They see themselves as the default and can't grasp at the idea that others that aren't in that majority demographic view them as part of the "other".
there's a cherry blossom tree in DC that keeps blooming every year even though it shouldn't and the park service keeps thinking it's dead and then it keeps blooming! well they're removing a lot of trees to rehabilitate the area and they've said it's finally time for stumpy to go and they're going to mulch it and use the mulch to enrich all the other trees so it can help everything else keep going. and they're also going to plant spliced little pieces of it all over so that stumpy can live forever and this is genuinely sending me into a spiral

It still frustrates me to this day that there are people on the Internet who will waste their time staring at a screen and laughing with their troll buddies about how “cringey” autistic people are, just for existing and talking about our experiences.
They take one look at autism blogs like mine, and their minds just go “lol autism funny XD lol r slur XD send death threats hahaha funny meme XDDD”. Because they’re ignorant and closed-minded about autism, and refuse to even try to see autism in the way we do.
Instead, they see us living our lives in our own, neurodivergent way, and think “they’re not like my stereotype, so they must be fakers, they think they’re so special and quirky, let’s troll them and send them threats”.
It’s obvious that these people have no personality other than “Internet troll” and “finds fun in harassing disabled people”.
You know who you are.
Some of you have never worked with an editing program and think that making gifs and edits takes like two seconds and it shows
Evangelicals imagine their opponents as evangelicals-in-reverse. Instead of surrendering to God and spreading his message, they have surrendered to the power of sin and seek to spread its message. The field of struggle is the mass of confused and misinformed souls who have not yet been offered the chance to accept Christ. In neither case is there any possibility of legitimate disagreement—anyone who is not a member of the evangelical community is either a fool or a demon.
On the political level, this means that there is no reason to respect the democratic will of the people. Thus it is no coincidence that our last two Presidents to enjoy overwhelming evangelical support were also initially installed despite losing the popular vote. Nor is the evangelical focus on the Supreme Court merely a strategic political decision. Evangelicals’ reliance on the antidemocratic aspects of the American constitutional system fits perfectly with their refusal to recognize the legitimacy of the choices and values of anyone outside the evangelical community. After all, those choices and values represent only ignorance and sin. To the extent that they can impose their religious standards on others, evangelicals are saving these people from themselves—and depriving them of their ability to corrupt evangelical children.

One of the strangest things I've noticed is the difference between how bigots present themselves online and offline.
Online bigots seem to love infantilising themselves. They'll call themselves something like 'wittle-kitten' or 'puppygirl-uwu', use either a ""cute"" little anime girl profile picture, or a cartoon animal, and message people like 'Can you please stop interacting with me I'm uncomfy 🥺. Also, kill yourself', and then act surprised when people don't handle them with little kiddie gloves, but treat them like the violent bigots they are.
If they're 13-17 then calling them out gets 'But I'm literally a minor you're being mean to me!', as if they should be treated like a 3-year-old who has clearly picked that up from an adult in their life and doesn't mean or know what they're saying, not someone who is rapidly approaching adulthood and would have hopefully learnt what they're saying, and if not, definitely needs to learn now. In the more likely scenario that they're over 18 but under 25 they'll go 'But my brain is still developing until I'm 25', which... Yeah, but also it's developing afterwards, shittily done research should be no basis for infantilisation. And I still remember the time a 30-year-old had a tantrum in my notes over me watching Eurovision. I don't remember what was said, just that this grown adult, who has been an adult for over a decade, was acting like a toddler over a show in which members of the EBU sing.
Bigots offline are quite happy to be seen as the wolves they are. Bigots online are obsessed in clothing themselves as sheep, and think that acting like a sheep between their vile actions means that they should be treated like sheep instead of the wolves they are.

Wall of Shame for gif+fanworks thieves and their supporters who steal my stuff and can't even give me a very simple apology. I'm not asking for much y'all! When it's not dealing with reposters, a general blog about gifs and other relevant PSAs. Have fun reading them all, hopefully you'll learn something significant about how to interact with strangers you don't know online. Genuinely, I hope they help, but I won't entertain reposters, trolls, or any of their supporters. By the way, if you've reposted my stuff or tried to argue with me in favor of stealing and reposting other's hard work without giving proper credit and asking for Permissions, delete it!!! Any reblog here noting fanworks thieves or supporters stays up until relevant posts or conversations are fully, one hundred percent deleted. It's super easy!!! "ANYONE CAN DO IT!!!"
