If they claim they can cure your condition that you have been told is incurable, run. If they claim they cured themselves, run. If they claim they have cured everything from cancer to lupus holistically, run. If they claim you have to buy only supplements from them, run. If they claim they that only thing that will cure is x but x costs tons of money, run. If they refuse to run tests or address your diagnosed conditions before insisting you do an expensive treatment not covered by insurence, run. If they offer a one size fits all treatment/cure, run.
I have been scammed by "holistic" and "naturalistic" people before as a chronically ill person. In fact it was an actual doctor who went to medical school who scammed me for years. So watch out. If it seems too good to be true it probably is.
Hey there! It's totally cool if someone wants to turn your content into ai. Take it as a compliment! Remember, it's a fandom, you don't own it and we all share and create together, so it's fair for people to have different opinions about your work. No need to get upset, it's all part of the fun and diverse community we have here! Just let others have what they find satisfying.đ
I understand your point. But no. It's not. I'm a part of a community, the exchange of ideas with other human beings is expected. I don't get a say with what other people do with my characters but I'm kind of responsible for what is done with them regardless and to just reduce everything to... Train an algorithm to replicate what I do? The things I make? That's just. It's soulless. I get not everything I write appeals to everyone. That's fine. But you don't get to remove me from the equation of my work. It's not a compliment. Death of the author doesn't fucking apply when I'm right here. I guess I can't stop people if they do it privately but seriously, please. Please think of what you're saying. Because the implication that the author can be translated into AI and removed from the process is just horrific.
This may be arrogant but the reason anyone would like my takes at all is because they come from my heart, head and hands. Remove that and you may as well just use an AI trained on the canon material and leave me out of it.
âWhatâs so bad about reposting?â
âItâs easy to make gifs, who cares.âÂ
 Wrong.Â
And hereâs why:Â
Presumably, youâre reposting because you either:Â
a) donât have access to the video thatâs gifâd because you donât know where itâs from or you donât know how to download it. Which already proves that making gifs is difficult because of the time spent video hunting and downloading. (Youâd be surprised how hard it is to download videos from certain websites.)
b) donât have access to photoshop, because youâre not sure how to download it, or you do have it but donât know how to work it. Which again, proves making gifs is difficult because itâs more than just right clicking then saving as (which is what reposting is - so if you catch yourself doing this, stop!) You have to learn how to use photoshop to actually make a gif, and to actually use photoshop you have to know how and where to download it. Some people even pay for it, and itâs extremely unfair to those that do because something they essentially paid for is getting stolen from them.
Gifs are not even just about being able to do the basic load files into stacks or import layers from frames, whichever method of gif making you prefer. Nope. Itâs about coloring as well, which makes your gif unique and different from someone elseâs. People spend time making their gifs look nice in addition to spending their time looking for the right video and whatnot.Â
So have some respect for people that do their best to provide you with pretty gifs on your dashboard to reblog >:(Â
(No, it does not count if you repost someoneâs gif and âgive creditâ, especially if the source is âitâs not mine but I found it on Googleâ. Tumblr made a beautiful function called a REBLOG. Use it. Itâs your best friend.)Â
Next time you say, âeveryone repostsâ or âtheyâre just gifsâ, keep in mind making gifs isnât actually as easy as some people belittle it to be! Try making gifs for yourself and see how hard it is. Really, try.Â
(And if youâre thinking, âoh making gifs is so easy! Iâve tried it!â then it literally costs you $0.00 to make your own gifs and gain notes through your own hard work. Seriously. Stop taking credit for someone elseâs hard work.)
Stopping reposts can happen if you take a step to stop yourself from reposting and letting others know why itâs bad too. If no one tells you what youâre doing is wrong, how would you know what youâre doing isnât right? One by one, we can all eventually stop reposting because itâs very disrespectful to artists (yes, gif makers are considered artists too). If you want notes, earn them yourself just like how every original content makers do. And even if you canât make anything yourself, donât be mean. Support peopleâs works.Â
(This applies to everyone that makes original content, fan art, fan fiction, graphics, etc. The steps in between to make them are different, but reposts effect all of us the same. Please stop reposting and respect the artists.)
if someone tells you that your OC or your fave is a Mary Sue, tell them they shouldnât complain about a character when they canât even get their name right
"Ok, ma'am that'll be $226.03."
I take my wallet out of my pocket and unfold it. It is empty other than a single moth that lazily flies out. The moth lands on the tap point of the card reader. There's a beat, and my payment is processed. The moth flies back into my wallet and I put it back in my pocket.
people who use autistic as an insult
âOne of the biggest problems with religion is that people stubbornly, insistently reduce God to their own size; they imagine that God loves the same people they love, and that God hates the people they hate. This is not just insidious theology; itâs actually idolatry, because people are just worshiping a blown up version of themselves. So let me say it simply: Godâs love transcends all of that. When your parents reject you, God loves you; when your friends or classmates make fun of you, God loves you; when your priest, minister, imam, or rabbi tells you that you are an abomination, God loves you; when politicians cater to peopleâs basest prejudices, God loves you. No matter how many times and in how many ways people make you feel less than human, God knows otherwise, and God loves you. When you feel frightened, or abandoned, or humiliated, I hope the unshakeable conviction that God loves you can help hold you and enable you to persevere.â

Wall of Shame for gif+fanworks thieves and their supporters who steal my stuff and can't even give me a very simple apology. I'm not asking for much y'all! When it's not dealing with reposters, a general blog about gifs and other relevant PSAs. Have fun reading them all, hopefully you'll learn something significant about how to interact with strangers you don't know online. Genuinely, I hope they help, but I won't entertain reposters, trolls, or any of their supporters. By the way, if you've reposted my stuff or tried to argue with me in favor of stealing and reposting other's hard work without giving proper credit and asking for Permissions, delete it!!! Any reblog here noting fanworks thieves or supporters stays up until relevant posts or conversations are fully, one hundred percent deleted. It's super easy!!! "ANYONE CAN DO IT!!!"
