My Mother taught me from a young age to never be embarrassed. If you’re afraid of bumping into someone, looking badly, or awkward moments— she insisted it’s much more embarrassing for the other person. See your ugly ex at the grocery store? It’s awkward for them, not you. You made a scene at the nail salon because your nails are nothing like the pic you brought? Humiliating for them bc they need to do better. Learning a technical skill in a group of people? That group of people are shitting their pants! This advice boosted my confidence and trained me to be unapologetic in who I am. Eliminate all fear from your being. The more accepting you are, the more the world opens up to you and opportunities come your way!
Vander: I've always liked the name Violet. Silco: *snorts a line* Hey, you know what I like?
Nesta is actually so brave for reading smut in a place where everyone can smell your horniness.
Go off and get off, queen. Let them know. 💅
can't wait to see them again
i agree. both eh1 and eh2 were commercially and critically successful so i would be VERY surprised if they didn't greenlight a third one. plus millie bobby brown is basically THE netflix it girl so especially with stranger things ending soon they will want to do anything to keep her on more projects
Do you think we will get a third movie?
I do!!!!!!! I do for delusional reasons but i also do for netflix money reasons. As far as i know, there is no box office data available for eh1 and eh2 and the way they measured audience engagement for both movies is different so you can't really compare them which is really annoying..... but if you go by critics reviews, the two films are both quite similar in ratings (some critics thought eh1 or eh2 was better for different reasons, the audience consensus seems to be eh2 was more enjoyable) and since i remember eh2 being in the top movies section on netflix for several weeks, i'm pretty sure that at least on netflix's side there's definitely interest in making another film. Apparently millie bobby brown also stated in an interview that she's very much happy to do another one, which is the important part i guess cause it's partly her production company that's involved in the films. It seems henry cavill kinda behaved himself on the set of eh2 (as opposed to the witcher...) and so i don't see the danger in him getting kicked out of a hypothetical eh3 production as well lol. And the way they've introduced watson and moriarty makes me very much think that they were already playing around with script ideas for eh3, so, in conclusion, i think the odds are in our favour. PLUS for eh2 we didn't get any green light news until march the next year after eh1 premiered in 2020, meaning if they're following a similar timeline without any production hiccups we should get a press release on the project green light in march and filming at the end of the year :D
hand porn, anyone?
I just want to remind you that sometimes your life really doesn't begin until you are 26+... Romanticizing and obsessing over our youth is harmful. Growing up is beautiful. Discovering who you are and how you interact with the world is a gift. Maturing and learning what you truly want out of life and living in that purpose brings fulfillment and peace. Your life is not over in your early 20's because you haven't figured it out yet, it's just beginning.
Damn season 1 and 2 are good and fun. I love them. I adore season 3 but S1 & 2 just have this young, boyish charm to them.
I think I love them for the same reason I loved reading the stories, in the fact it was just mates running around solving crimes. Going on adventure and sharing do.
I relate to john a lot in this way, feeling absolutely blown away and enthralled by the seemingly relentless oddities and excitement.
Imagined scene for if Loki returns:
Thor sees Loki, his face goes frighteningly blank.
As soon as Loki sees this, he infers that Thor is angry as flip (and rightfully, how many times can you fake your death until someone decides to kill you for it?) And begins backing away, starting nervously, “Now I know you have reason to be upset but let’s not be hasty, it isn’t as if I was trying to make you grieve this time, I had a very good reason to-!”
Thor is striding up as he’s speaking, going faster than Loki can back away, and right as he’s close enough he cuts Loki off with a tight, almost desperate hug. Loki stands in shock for a few moments before he hears Thor whisper, “You’re all I have left… you’re all I have left…”
We see how all the grief and suffering, still too fresh, too frequent, have left Thor broken in this moment. An empty martyr with only revenge to seek. But now he has his brother back, and this will be the last time Thor loses him.
