where have I been?

I have been drawing! the only problem is I've been having wifi issues so posting my work has been having some technical difficulties. BUT I HAVE EXCITING NEWS! I have been setting everything up to get started and do commissions! I'm excited to take this big step in art as a career!

yet another AU! so this is a AU that I sorta "dm" kinda. I do single-player DM-style roleplays. where I am in complete control of worlds and people shove their favorite character or oc into it. (if you have discord and are interested in experiencing this world you can hit me up here)

in this world, you have to find and rescue the scrybes from performing in the circus against their will (its like act 1 of inscription but with all the scrybes, and its a circus) (spoilers for if you actually accept my offer)

so your character finds themselves with a new circus in town with 4 interesting attractions "the beastly ringleader and his animals", "the darling daredevil and her death-defying stunts", "the clumsy mute clown and his hilarious misfortune", and "the fortune teller and his all-seeing eye" each scrybe is living their own hell as they have to perform. P03 has been rendered mute and has to perform with a plastic smile as he's used as a metaphorical door mat. Grimora has to put herself in dangerous deadly situations and only narrowly escape from death. Leshy has to be caged with his beasts. and Magnificus has to deny people of their fate for money.

I present Madicent scybe of magiks personally, I headcanon that Pike [yes this pike] has a name that starts with "M" so like Madison or Megan. normally I go with Madison cause it just feels fitting. "Madicent" is just being like Magnificus's name taking Magnificent and messing with it a bit unfortunately, I haven't drawn her full body but the idea is her neck and arms are covered in bandages, and shes constantly BLEEDING PAINT I tried to avoid using any of the scrybes associates but it was really hard to meet my goal of "gender-bending" all the scribes and find unexpected characters for each scrybe [the other option was goobert. if yall ask I can show the scrapped doodles for that.] ok LORE TIME she believes art is physical pain. her wounds struggle to heal due to her paint blood that she is constantly vomiting, crying, and bleeding. the paint infused with magik allows her to see the future and coats the top of her eye making her physically blind [emphasis on physically blind.] her future vision allows her to see what she paints and her card battles from a 3rd person point of view. however, that doesn't mean she doesn't fumble a bit in day-to-day life. technically she could see if she wanted but it would cost her extreme agony. she would have to slowly drip paint thinner into her eyes thinning the layer of paint that coats her eye and allowing her to see with her bright light blue eyes [act one magnificus's eye]. however, due to the fact that it is extremely painful and only temporary, she spends most of her time blind. suggesting that she is lesser than or that because she is blind she is a weak scrybe will make her competitive. she will drag your ass through the mud just to torment you with the fact that your ass was handed to you by a blind woman.

I have made the unfinished boss! by far the one I'm most proud of. i feel like my character art of him still relates enough to the cannon to be recognizable. his power is to shape shift his face and his job in the factory is designing and drawing cover card art. his personality is like talking to a reflection. he often reflects the person he's talking to. his actual personality is actually very bland.
