Damn, how long has it been since I last posted? Well, neither here nor there. Wasn’t quite proud of this drawing when I started it months ago, but thanks to the internet’s motivational words of “better finished than perfect,” I’ve cleaned this up and finally posted it. Not the best, but a fun exercise in reinterpreting another one of my favorite pokemon, Granbull.
Just playing around with brushes, colors, and filters. I think I like making abstract art.
Had this old drawing of Matonne sitting on my tablet for some bigger project, but decided to scale it back to a more proper ref sheet.
[[Image Description: The image is the reference sheet of a furry brown humanoid character. This character has the head of a rabbit, the tail of a lion, and the legs of a horse. They are shown in four different outfits.
The info on the sheet is: Name: Matonne Pronouns: She/Her and He/Him Birth Year: 1998 Orientation: Bisexual Gender: Female-Male Genderfluid Likes: Hot dogs, cupcakes, ducks, and books DIYed about half her wardrobe Works as a drag king and freelance fashion model Cannot stand the smell of flowers Loves comics and animation End of Description]]

Some friendly fire revenge of CherriLyme’s meerkat. Picked him cause I used to be obsessed with meerkats as a preteen. I finished the main drawing yesterday, but noticed earlier today that they had added that they’d like to see Thomas drawn being clumsy, and it honestly worked out in my favor cause I am not the best at drawing characters interacting with furniture and he’s a bit unbalanced in the main drawing.
Just playing around with brushes and color.
This was gonna be part of a larger project years ago, but this is the only part I even started on.
Guess it counts now as vent art, of the frustration of being both sick and/or disabled and having to go through so many hoops just to get the care you know exists, with some of those hoops being financial in my case.
