Okay so I've been playing stardew valley for the first time.

For the past few days, I've had the game music practically muted because I was listening to the EPIC soundtrack. I just turned it back on today, and heard the Ginger Island music for the first time.

My first thought was "Open Arms" TELL ME WHY I'VE NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THE PARALLELS BEFORE WITH THE JUNIMOS AND THE WINIONS!!

I'M IMAGINING ODYSSEUS PICKING ONE UP AND BEING LIKE "look at the way this fruit is glowing-" obsessed and may draw about this later.

Noah Kahan is truly a genius of our time, because how does one manage to write songs that so perfectly convey the bittersweet feeling of returning to your hometown, and hating it? hating everyone there, feeling the roots of the person you used to be, and also the person that you could've been, all tangled up together like the knot your mother taught you to do in order to lace up your shoes?

The idea of her unstringing the bow in the first place is such a beautiful idea. I always imagined it as already being unstrung and maybe left somewhere since it was out of use. This adds so much more power to "The Challenge" because we see just how little respect she has for the suitors. She doesn't just ask them to do something for her. She is demanding they FIX something SHE BROKE. It just really makes the whole thing more of a mockery, how dare they even ATTEMPT to win her love. She's taken motherfuckers
